Water Temperature is controlled by a

Thermostatic Wax Element that rapidly

responds to temperature changes.

The expansion and contraction of the

thermostatic element moves the slide

valve, precisely controlling the flow of

hot and cold water entering the mixing

chamber.

If the supply water temperature

increases, the valve will reduce the flow

of hot water and increase the flow of

cold water to maintain the specified

outlet temperature ensuring optimal

safety.

In the event of hot or cold water supply

failure, the valve will automatically shut

off ALL flow to the outlet, eliminating

any risk of scalding to users.

Caroma believes it's essential to create a valve

AS4032.1. Our TMV20 prevents scalding and

provides a rapid shut-down in the event of hot

or cold water supply failure which is important

to the safety of children, the elderly or people

in care.

The TMV20 can service multiple outlets

simultaneously, safely supplying 42L/min of

mixed water to plus or minus 2°Celcius within

a range of inlet pressures and temperatures. It

is ideal for hospitals, aged care and childcare

centres where safety and water temperature

control is paramount.

PROTECTION AGAINST SCALDING Ensures a rapid shut-down of mixed water flow from the outlet in the event of a failure in either hot or cold water supply.

SERVICE MULTIPLE OUTLETS CONSISTENTLY The valve’s design has been optimised to safely deliver high volume of mixed water and tolerates large supply pressure differentials.

ANTI SCALING Anti-Scaling Coating protection has been applied to all brass cartridge components for durability in hard water (high mineral content) areas. This ensures optimal performance.

TAMPER RESISTANT Our TMVs are fitted with a Tamper Resistant temperature adjustment mechanism to ensure safety is always maintained.

COMPLIANCE The TMV20 complies with the requirements of AS4032.1 Thermostatic Mixing Valves and is WaterMark approved.

EASE OF SERVICING For ease of maintenance, Caroma offers the capability to replace the Thermostatic Cartridge as a complete, integrated unit. The Caroma TMV20 is designed for quick and simple onsite servicing which will minimise disruption to the facility and save time.

CONNECTION OPTIONS Caroma TMV’s are supplied with 3/4" BSP (DN20) compression fittings, with an optional 3/4" BSP (DN20) to 1/2" BSP (DN15) adaptor for both inlet & outlet connections. Boxed TMV's are supplied with DN20 copper inlet and outlet pipes to give installers connection options.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE Each Caroma TMV is provided with an Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance manual.

WARRANTY Five year Caroma Warranty for both domestic and commercial applications.

The RangeSupporting the Caroma TMV20

Caroma’s TMV20 range features four boxed configurations allowing maximum flexibility during installation.

Units are suitable for either concealed or exposed wall mounting. A full stainless steel housing unit is available with either a removable cover panel or a removable hinged door, both of which are lockable for added security. Alternatively, the TMV20 valve assembly can be purchased as a stand-alone product.

The Caroma TMV20 features a comprehensive range of spare parts for ease of service to achieve a total solutions package.
