curriculum for elementary.

DepEd inculcates in the students the virtues of being

Makatao, MakaDiyos, Makabayan and Makakalikasan.

EE is not separate from school lessons, it is integrated.

Ex. Science and Health (soil water air pollution, disposal of waste materials;

coral reefs; components of ecosystem), Sibika at Kultura, Hekasi, Edukasyong

Pagpapakatao, and Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan.

Environmental hygiene, MS E

Science, Env. Engineering, and

Environmental Studies;

2. Development of a teacher’s

guidebook on EE

3. Linkages with other agencies

4. Integration of EE in the curricula of

National Service Training Program

6. Celebration of November as the

Environment Awareness Month

7. Capacity building projects

8. Trainings, seminars, and production of

environmental education materials.
