On Friday, November 11th, we took the entire band out to thank our Veterans by performing music to entertain and honor them at Veteran?s Day ceremonies. Our first stop was The Bridge, where our students had the opportunity to shake hands with and personally thank Veterans who were being honored in a pinning ceremony. The band?s final stop included having lunch with the Veterans at the VFW Veterans Village in Ft. McCoy, followed by a great musical performance and ceremony. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to thank those who so bravely served our country. What a great year the Trinity Catholic High School Band has had so far! We?ve played for football games, playoff games, open house, marching competitions, Veteran?s Day ceremonies; and are making preparations now for the Christmas Concert and Christmas Parade. These students are incredibly hard-working, motivated, and enthusiastic. They make TCHS proud each day, and I am proud to be their director. I would also like to send a big ?thank you? to you, the families and business sponsors whose contributions of time, talent, and treasures help to make the TCHS Band successful. We do everything for the Glory of God. Hope to see you at the concert! In November , our Celtic Chamber Winds ensemble went to Dr. N H Jones Elementar y school and per formed two assemblies for a few Kindergar ten and Second Grade classes. TC students demonstrated each instr ument and then gave the NHJ students a chance to touch the keys, play the drums and cymbals, and make sounds on the f lute and the brass instr uments. I t was so fun to watch TC band students encourage and have fun w ith the elementar y school students.

FAMILY NIGHTWednesday, November 16th, we celebrated Family Night, an annual gather ing where the famil ies get to exper ience what i t 's l ike to be in marching band!
