The distinctive design of the Multivan Business is perfectly formed: sharp

lines create a look that radiates power and poise. In addition to the LED

headlights and tinted LED tail lights, attractive paint finishes, such as

the two-tone paint finish Indium Grey/Deep Black, play a key part in the

vehicle’s unmistakeable appearance. The chrome package and optional

18-inch “Toluca” alloy wheels, for example, help the vehicle to shine

in a crowd, while the privacy glass protects occupants in the passenger

compartment both from prying eyes and the sun’s rays.

times thanks to features including wireless Internet access and a rear-seat

telephony system. The latter enables you to take and make calls from the

passenger compartment via your mobile phone using the handy speech

reproduction function. Or, when it comes to more private matters, you

can use the handset stored in the centre armrest. A cooling compartment

holds a supply of refreshments for you and your guests, while the multi-

function box keeps a set of glasses within easy reach. And when it’s time to

take a break, clear some space by simply folding down the multifunction

table and sliding it between the two individual seats.

WHERE YOU’RE SITTING.

The “Discover Media Plus” navigation system is the centrepiece of the

innovative infotainment equipment. It comes equipped with a 16.5 cm

(6.33") colour touch screen, CD drive, two SD card slots, an AUX-IN inter-

face and USB port and a mobile phone preparation via Bluetooth. Together

with the DAB+ digital radio and high-end DYNAUDIO digital sound system,

eleven speakers provide all seats with individually adjustable and excep-

tional sound quality. The driver can use the voice control system to operate

the telephone, navigation and audio functions without having to take his

hands off the steering wheel. And there is no need for him to turn around

or strain his voice if he wishes to talk with passengers in the rear. When

activated, the electronic voice amplifier projects his voice through the

rear speakers. What’s more, the range of mobile online services offered

by Car-Net Guide & Inform keeps all passengers up to date at all times.*

Uses visual and audible warning signals to recommend that the driver takes a break as soon as it registers driving behaviour that indicates tiredness.

BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM1)

Registers the speed at which the brake pedal is pressed. During a reflexive or emergency braking action, it ensures that full brake pressure is built up more quickly.

“REAR VIEW” REVERSING

Simplifies parking by showing a limited view of the area behind the vehicle on the navigation system display. Additional static guidelines aid the parking process.

“FRONT ASSIST” AMBIENT TRAFFIC

MONITORING SYSTEM WITH CITY

Uses a radar system to detect situations where the distance to the vehicle in front is critical, and reduces the vehicle’s stop-ping distance. In dangerous situations, the system alerts the driver by means of visual and acoustic signals, and with a warning jolt of the brakes.

Emits audible warnings when obstacles are detected in front of or behind the vehicle when parking, and also provides a visual display of the vehicle’s distance from these obstacles.

Automatically adapts the vehicle’s speed to that of the vehicle driving in front and maintains the distance set by the driver. At the same time, it remains within the set speed.

Displays a warning signal in the exterior mirror if one of the system’s sensors registers a vehicle in the blind spot when changing lanes.

Automatically dips the headlights for oncoming vehicles or vehicles travelling ahead before they are dazzled. At speeds above 60 km/h and in complete darkness, the system automatically switches on the high-beam headlights.

Ensure optimum visibility in poor weather conditions. The headlight nearest to the corner illuminates the roadside when turning.

HILL START ASSIST1)

Can prevent the vehicle from rolling back on inclines by maintaining the brake pressure for up to two seconds. This makes handling easier when starting off on uphill slopes.
