DESCRIPTION

Collaborately designed by Kengo Kuma and TL architects, the teahouse is a transitory structure. The 'soft shell' structure, developed by TL, is a fusion of many bubbles-pressurized envelopes. The entire building can be set up, occupied, and taken down in one day a system of inflation and deflation. The fabric is Gore Tenara- a light weight, translucent, non emissions, textile used in many outdoor applications, including Wimbledon's retractable roof.
