The Mill Basin Day Camp Blog A Brooklyn Day Camp Blog classic - www.millbasindaycamp.com

It’s almost summer camp time and you might be wondering what a day in the life of a child looks like while at day camp. Queens and Brooklyn day camp families may find it useful to know the sort of things to send along and what not to send as well. We plan to provide you with plenty of camp tips like that here on our blog.

An example of what to bring to our camp at Mill Basin Day Camp is we ask our campers to bring a lunch but nothing that needs to be heated. We provide refrigeration for their lunches. And for what not to bring…it is a good idea to leave expensive electronic devices at home and, instead, plan on enjoying the fun activities planned by the camp leaders. These activities are not only for entertainment and exercise but to encourage mixing with other kids in the same age group as well.

The most important thing for the kids to bring to camp is a spirit of adventure and enthusiasm for all the new things they will learn and the new friends they will meet. Parents can help prepare children for what their experience will include at day camp. Brooklyn day camp and Queens day camp kids will find Mill Basin Day Camp to be one of the largest and most popular day camps in the region.

Overall camp information for Mill Basin Day Camp and Queens and Brooklyn day camp families will be posted here on our blog so check back often. We’d like our kids to feel right at home when they arrive at our Brooklyn camp so we’ll try to prepare them some with as much information as possible about our day camp ahead of time. Mill Basin Day Camp is for preschoolers on up to teens and we have programs that are appropriate for each age group that we think you’re gonna love! We look forward to meeting each of our parents and each child at open house or over the phone anytime you want to give us a call.

If you’ve never been to day camp yourself or if this is the first time your child will be away at camp, it is natural to have some questions about how their time will be spent, what are the qualifications of the staff members, etc…?

We’re proud to have been in business as a Brooklyn day camp for 15 years…just growing by leaps and bounds each year as people tell others about us. We welcome you to give us a call or visit us here on our blog to find out more about what makes us so special to so many kids and their parents each summer.
