  • Membership (cont’d page 1)

Membership continues to come in and we all need to work on

the expired members who last paid in 15 and 14 and those who

were paid for last year. The District is in 8th place at 70.84%. We

are down almost 400 renewal from this time last year. I know we

can make up this up and also increase our numbers within the

    district.

Any questions, please feel welcome to contact me.

Well it’s November and riding season is coming to an end for the year. It all depends on you and the weather. Vet-erans Day is an annual United States holiday honoring military veterans (November 11). Everyday should be Veterans Day and I like to take this time to Thank all Veterans for your service.

Changing Gears a little, I would like to do a lot of bragging about The American Legion Family here in Minnesota. Minnesota is the #1 state in the nation in contributions to The American Legion Scholarship

Fund. With $148,367.70 turned in at National Conven-tion in Cincinnati, OH with a grand total of $1,155,363.03 Nation wide. And I would also like to Thank The American Legion Riders that Volunteer many hours, pay for their own gas & hotels and pay for many of their meals. Plus paying their own up keep on their bikes. In the 2016-2017 MN Legacy Run year, we have to make an adjustment to our two weekends Run. We have to back-up a weekend do to National’s changing the date of National Conven-tion. So we well be starting the last weekend of July and the first weekend of August. Mark you calendars. And talking about marking your calendars add April 8th 2017 @ 2pm we well have the 10th District ALR Hosted Member-ship Rally at Clearwater American Legion Post 323. That’s about all for this newsletter. Oh Yeah, have a very nice Turkey Day (Thanksgiving). Until next time,

    Riding with a Smile

    Adjutants Thoughts

Let’s make sure we have a great turnout at Milaca for the Veteran’s Day Rally. This is the

Auxiliary’s rally and President Linda looking for a good rally with lots of membership turn

    in.

This is a good chance to interact with our friends in the northern part of our district.

We thank Milaca for sponsoring this rally. See you there!

In a couple of days I will have a version with more Fall Conference pictures.

We had a great representation in the ‘Grand March’.
