Be It Resolved That: The Hudson City School District Board of Education approve the contract with Summit Educational Service Center to provide auxiliary service personnel during the 2021-22 school year for Walsh Jesuit High School, a non-public school located within the district’s geographic boundaries.

D. Final Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2020-21

Be It Resolved That: Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and the Treasurer, the Annual Appropriations for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, in the total amount of _____________ be approved as the FINAL APPROPRIATIONS for the Hudson City Schools. These are to be approved at the “FUND” Level.

And Be It Further Resolved That: It is hereby certified that the amount of the appropriation measure attached hereto for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 is ___________ that such aggregate amount does not exceed the amount authorized by the most recent Official Certificate of Estimated Resources or Amended Certificate issued or Amended Certificate being requested by the county budget commission pursuant to Section 5705.36 O.R.C. and the Hudson City School District has in effect for the fiscal year the authorization to levy taxes, including the renewal of levies only which have in fact been renewed by the voters, which, when combined with the estimated revenue from all other sources available to the district at the time of certification or requested amendments are sufficient to provide operation revenues necessary to enable the district to operate an adequate educational program on all the days set forth in its adopted school calendar of the fiscal Year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

Be It Resolved That: Upon the recommendation of the Hudson City School District Superintendent, the following personnel action be approved. WHEREAS, this individual will retire after many years of dedicated service to the Hudson City School District; and WHEREAS, this individual has successfully contributed to the education of hundreds of students during these many years; BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Hudson City School District commends this individual for their outstanding commitment to the pursuit of excellence in the Hudson Schools; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Board of Education extends to this individual its best wishes for an abundance of happiness and continued success as they enter this new phase of their life.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COMMERCIAL LEASE BETWEEN WILLIS INVESTMENT COMPANY LLC AS THE LESSOR

AND THE BOARD OF EDUCATION AS THE LESSEE.

Whereas, this Board desires to lease from Willis Investment Company the real property located at 4050 State Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44223, in accordance with the Commercial Lease currently on file with the Treasurer. Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Board of Education of the Hudson City School District, Summit County, Ohio, that: Section 1. Approval and Execution of Commercial Lease. The Treasurer is hereby authorized to sign, acknowledge and deliver, in the name of and on behalf of the School District, the Commercial Lease with Willis Investment Company LLC substantially in the form now on file with the Treasurer. Whereas, the District desires to enter into a Eleventh Guaranteed Maximum Price Agreement

with Hammond Construction, Inc. for the purpose of establishing, among other things, the

Contract Sum, Contract Time, Guaranteed Maximum Price, and other terms relevant to

construction of the Evamere Renovations to Administrative Offices / HCER (the “Project”).

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Board of Education of the Hudson City School District,

Whereas, this Board desires to execute an Agreement for Release of Restrictive Covenant with the Western Reserve Academy for the purpose of releasing any restrictions that Western Reserve Academy may have retained on certain real property conveyed by Western Reserve Academy to the Board of Education pursuant to the Quit-Claim Deed recorded on November 2, 1926 at Volume 1126, Page 602 of the Summit County Ohio Records.

Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved by the Board of Education of the Hudson City School District, Summit County, Ohio, that: Section 1.
