Paul Goble is a world-renowned author and illustrator of 35 children’s books and a recipient of the prestigious Caldecott Medal. For more than four decades, Goble has participated in the life of the Plains Indians of the American West, and has shared the friendship of many tribal elders. He lives with his wife, Janet, in Rapid City, South Dakota.
