The FoodDiet and nutrition advice often focuses on how much we should eat, however that’s off the mark. More important than how much, how often and when we eat, is WHAT we eat. • An average weight loss of 3.1 pounds • An average reduction in cholesterol of 22 mg/dL • An average decrease of 18/11 mmHg in blood pressure

An independent analysis of the McDougall 10-Day Program by Oregon Health & Science University (Portland, OR) found that the participants in the McDougall Program made dramatic and permanent changes in their diet (fat intake dropped from 40% to 15% of the calories), body weight (20 pounds) and cholesterol (20mg/dL) maintained over a one year period. The CareDuring the 10-day experience you’ll have individual appointments with a licensed medical doctor as well as daily care by medical assistants. Switching to a starch-based diet can greatly reduce or even eliminate your need to take medication for inflammatory arthritis, elevated cholesterol, type-2 diabetes, GERD, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis and many other common chronic illnesses.
