LETS TALK | A LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

ow refreshing it is to be back on this glorious publishing

platform where great people are represented the world all over. The

Mantle has begun another editorial phase and great grace has been

bestowed on us to publish another edition; for this we say a big thank you

to the Most High God. Though we are in troubled times, our solace lay in the fact that the Good Shepherd is still

LORD over our lives, and in whatever situation we nd ourselves, we are in Good and Perfect hands.

Elijah's sudden rapturous ride on the Chariots of Fire is a biblical reminder of the rapture. This event is imminent and it is one truth that we should never lose spiritual sight of. Elijah was suddenly taken away into heaven and so would believers any moment. This calls for watchfulness and sobriety.

From one angle of the Elijah-Elisha chronicle is the antitype of the rapture, and from another angle is the showcase of POWER to the glory of God. Elisha used the mantle Elijah dropped to part the river Jordan. The Mantle's slogan is quite a signicant one— “the power is in your hands.” Jesus said “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” On giving our lives to Jesus and getting baptized in the Holy Ghost, we are given that power. So many Christians are completely ignorant, while some are negligent and eventually go through life completely defeated, making heaven as their only source of consolation. Never forget that the power is in your hands, and with great power comes great responsibility. How responsible and responsive to the Spirit's leading would determine how greatly you wield the power which has been made available to and through you.

What kind of power is the bible referring to? Power to do good and to destroy the works of darkness. Opportunities to show forth God's glory abound all around us and that should be our starting

point for manifesting His power. The world is hurting and the nations need healing; that's why we have been called to shine the Light of Christ in the darkness that pervades this world.

This edition is one of its kind and there are life transforming and thought provoking articles with captions from events worth acknowledging. As you peruse this magazine, your life would experience inexplicable changes for good in Jesus name. Enjoy your perusal and continually stay connected with your Maker.Compliments of the season!

Pastor J.T.

KalejaiyeA Man of Honour

Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye is a Regional Evangelist in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, a sought after minister at various Christian circles, a sound teacher of the Word and a spiritual father to many. Pastors' Seeds Family was privileged to have him minister the second time in one of our meetings during the Annual Convention 2014. We had a brief and exclusive chat with this man of honour, as he advised and encouraged us with words seasoned with salt.

M: God has started blessing PSF. How can we

sustain God's blessings and not make a mess of it?

J.T: Never get too familiar with the anointing so that you won't take it for granted. It is easy to take the

anointing of God for granted just because you are becoming too familiar with it. PSF is going places. Don't be discouraged but abide together in love. PSF has a good leader in the person of Pastor Leke Adeboye and also Daddy and Mummy GO are ready to support you.

Also, Jesus preached and He healed. Jesus saved and He fed. When you preach, you support it with something. Just like you have PSF programs and our Mother-in-Israel blesses you all with meals. She simply understands Biblical principles. Always be a blessing anywhere you go. There are places we go and after ministering, we do check-ups, health counseling and medical treatment for the people.

TM: Daddy GO keeps praying for us that we will be greater than our fathers, and our fathers keep going higher. How possible is it for us to be greater than them when they haven't stopped going higher?

J.T: The higher they go the better it is for you because wherever they stop, that

would be your starting point. It is where they stop that would be the minimum you must achieve in life. It is where the dot is placed that determines the value of the currency. Don't be discouraged, stay focused, and don't get disconnected from your Source Jesus Christ.

You cannot serve God and starve. When God gives someone responsibilities, He will certainly provide ability; because vision without provision is equal to television. Thank God who gave Pastor Leke the vision of the Pastors' Seeds Family. He will always make revenue available in Jesus name. My Prayer for all the Pastors' Seeds is that they will be greater and better than all of us. They will come out better and not bitter. Remain rapturable in Jesus name.

Congratulations!

My Prayer for all the Pastors' Seeds is that they will be greater and better than all of us. They will come out better and not bitter. Remain rapturable in Jesus name.

WITH LADYMAY

don't know whether you'll agree with this; but growing up in RCCG, I

personally believe Hebrews 12:14 has to be the most quoted bible verse in the ministry. Daddy G.O loves the verse so much, he quotes it at every given opportunity. The verse is actually part of

the mission's mandate.

“…holiness, without which no man shall see the lord.”

We are a holiness church; we love to talk about holiness. Even some of have been accused of trying to dress holy (interesting I know, but this is an article for another day, maybe it would be titled “holy dressing”).

Now back to the matter at hand, the bible says without holiness it is impossible to see God and this gets me thinking each time I read it. In other words, the bible is saying it's ok to call yourself a Christian, it's nice to be a part of PSF, it's a great thing to be fervent and active in your local church but all that isn't a criteria required to seeing God. In other to experience God here on earth and enjoy life with Him after death/ rapture, the bible says we must be holy! Another bible verse says we must be pure in heart (Mattew5:8). In other words, God isn't interested in all the outward Christ like behavior we pretend to have in the presence of other Christians, he searches the heart.

True holiness depends on the condition of your heart! It's very easy to look “holy”. Even the bible talks about people having the form of godliness, but holiness isn't just about how we look, talk, dress or behave in church or around fellow Christians. Holiness means living in total obedience to God and this involves having a pure lifestyle, clean thoughts and a pure heart.“CAN I REALLY LIVE HOLY?” “C'MON IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO BE HOLY IN A WORLD THAT CARE LESS ABOUT HOLINESS?” These are the type of questions youths tend to think about either

consciously or unconsciously. I won't pretend by saying living a holy life consistently is an easy task to achieve because I know I've made some silly mistakes in the past and I'm still a work in progress but we all need to strive towards perfection by forsaking those sins that easily beset us, crucifying our esh and taking up our cross daily to live according to the will of God.

The simple truth is that if we make a decision to be holy, then we'll be holy. Romans 6:19 says “I speak after the manner of men because of the inrmity of your esh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.” What the verse basically means is that we become servants to whoever we yield ourselves to. If we yield ourselves to the world then we become worldly and if we yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit then we become holy.

Consider the story of Daniel, he was a youth like us and also living in an ungodly society. The bible says in Daniel 1:8 that “Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not dele himself…” He made a decision to stay holy and he stood by it. Most of the time, inuences from peers, distractions from the world and other temptations hinder us from living holy, but when we consciously make up our minds to live right, we would with God's help. It is very possible to live holy, you just need to make up your mind and become a close ally with the Holy Spirit because you'll need His help. Dare to live holy because you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength.Stay holy and keep repping the Most High.

Tribute toDR. MYLES MUNROE

arly on Monday, November 10, 2014, I received the heart wrenching news that Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife, Mrs. Ruth Ann Munroe, had died in a plane crash the previous day. As I mourned the loss of Dr. Munroe, I remembered his humble beginnings and the faith which had spurred him on to the fullment of his purpose here on earth.

Dr. Myles Munroe was born in the Bahamas as the sixth child in a family of 11. In his interviews, he stated that people in his village were so poor, they had no idea that they were poor. From all indications, he was doomed to live his life in poverty and failure until his rst turning point at age 14, when he read and memorised all the four gospels of the Bible. After that, he told himself that everything was possible.

While at school, his white teacher told him that he was a retarded half human and half monkey who could not learn complicated things and who would always be an F student. He went home that day, believing every word his teacher had said, until his mother, a woman of faith, told him he could be anything God had destined him to be.

With the belief that everything was possible burning alive in his heart and based on the truth in God's Word, Dr.

Munroe went on to college and got three bachelors' degrees in four years, a masters in 18 months and ve PhDs from ve different universities.

With over 60 books to his credit, Dr. Munroe touched the lives of many youths by shedding light on real life issues such as leadership, purpose, vision, relationships, character, etc. One of his most popular quotes is that, “the greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose”. His belief was that the richest places on earth were the graveyards, because many individuals had died without tapping into their purpose and talents, or fullling their destiny. His passion was to help people discover their purpose and excel in life, based on the fact that everyone is a leader.

According to him, if and when each individual dies, that individual must die empty; devoid of all the talents God had deposited in the individual for the fullment of destiny. Like Apostle Paul, we must be able to say, “I have fought a good ght, I have nished my course, I have kept the faith...”- 2 Timothy 4:7.

Dr. Munroe fought the good ght and he nished his race. He made impact, he changed lives. And all this was possible because he had faith: faith in God, faith in himself, and faith in the people he taught and mentored. I know for a fact that he is not dead; he merely changed his address, for to be absent in the body, is to be present with

the Lord.

Even in death, his legacy will continue, and his faith will spur countless others to believe in themselves and push boundaries for the glory of God. It really doesn't matter what people say or see about you; what matters and will stand the test of time is what God says about you and what you believe about yourself. Have the faith of God!!!

Our hearts and prayers are with the family, loved ones, friends, ministry and country of Dr. Munroe. May they continue to nd solace in God, Amen.

Even in death, his legacy will continue, and his faith will spur countless others to believe in themselves and push boundaries for the glory of God. It really doesn't matter what

people say or see about you; what matters and will stand the test of time is what God says about you and what you believe about yourself.

BOLOGNESE SAUCE

INGREDIENTS RECIPE

olognese is one of my favourite sauces; it is very simple to

prepare, meaty and delicious. It may have originally been

associated with spaghetti, but it's also great

with a lot of foods like couscous, rice, pasta, boiled or mashed potatoes, boiled plantain and yam. Sometimes, I simply just spread it over steamed vegetables and lunch/dinner is served! Well, I have never really had to measure the ingredients when cooking for my family; I just eyeball the quantity of ingredients

and taste for seasoning. But for the sake of this write-up, I have had to do some measurements and this recipe should easily serve 5 people. I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

250g of minced meat1 can of tomato purée (not the concentrated tomato paste. if you cannot nd this, feel free to roughly blend about 4 to 5 large tomatoes and add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste)2 large diced onions 2 red pepper (tatashe) diced3 large carrots peeled and diced150ml to 180ml of water50g of green peas, just about a hand full (optional) 2 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil1 can of kidney beans drained and rinsed (optional)2 cubes of seasoning½ teaspoon of thyme½ teaspoon of dried ginger ½ teaspoon of dried garlicA pinch of currySalt to taste

Put oil in the pan, add the ginger, garlic and onions over medium heat and let it fry for about a minute.

Add the minced meat to the pan and stir continuously on high heat to break any large balls of beef, until it is brown all over.

Add the seasoning, thyme, salt and curry and stir for another 20 seconds.

Then pour in the tomatoes, pepper and water. Reduce the heat, cover and let it cook for about 20 minutes.

You can check and stir the sauce occasionally to make sure that it does not burn.

Add a bit more water if you need to, also taste for seasoning (you don't want the sauce to be too watery and it shouldn't be too thick either, it's not mashed potatoes).

Then stir in the carrot, kidney beans and let it cook for about 6mins.Lastly, add the green peas (I prefer the frozen one, it cooks faster) and cook for another 3 to 4 mins. Taste for seasoning and serve with whatever you want.

THE WEAPON Ingratitude

of

ngratitude can appear like no big deal; however, it is a

weapon of destruction. What is ingratitude? It is the absence of gratitude and contentment. It is another form of greed and dissatisfaction and rebellion against God. When a man has a Toyota or Ford,

and is yet depressed for lacking a Range Rover, that is a sign of ingratitude. When you forget

everything God has done and is doing in your life, while you are busy envying or wishing for what you believe is better in the life of your neighbour, friends, or contemporaries, you are an ingrate.

When one looks at the Facebook proles of others and one begins to fancy the attractions on the social media with all its trappings and hypes and forget God's goodness in their own lives, that can be a sign that the weapon of ingratitude is at work to frustrate such a fellow. A classic example is in the story of King Ahab; 7th King of Israel after the decline of David's dynasty. In his story, even though He was a King, he could not eat or sleep because of Naboth's vineyard. We never see him thanking God that he lived in a palace; instead he was depressed because Naboth's vineyard was not his. Ahab also forgot that in the preceding chapter (1 Kings 20), God gave him a awless defeat against a King, an army and nation mightier and stronger than his, in spite of his wickedness. You would assume that he would thank God like

Nebuchadnezzar did after his restoration (Daniel 4: 34-37). Nope! Instead, he looked outside his window with ojukokoro (a Yoruba depiction of greed and metaphoric big eyes) and was only concerned about the little God had given his neighbour. Take note “Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth” (Luke 12: 15).

Godliness with contentment is great gain. (1 Timothy 6:6) Take your eyes off others and look inward and be thankful, because, the failure to be constantly and eternally thankful is a weapon the enemy can use against a believer in Christ. How do we know this? By observing God's reaction when Ahab nally acquired a new piece of land through covetousness and sin. (1 Kings 21:17-19). 17 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, 18 Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, Which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it. 19 And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

Ahab's greed and covetousness had a root cause— INGRATITUDE! He was so ungrateful that he could not even sleep or eat. So the next time the deception of depression or sadness knocks on your door. Look back and begin to thank God for all he

has done.

In conclusion, even though Ahab sinned against God, Ahab got one thing right. In verse 25 of our storyline, when Ahab heard God's judgement, he REPENTED. He rented his clothes, put on sack-clothes, fasted and humbled himself before God. When God saw this, God changed His mind and waived Ahab's punishment by minimising the sentence. Why was the sentence not totally waived? Ahab only repented 50%. His repentance was incomplete. He should have also confessed his faults to God and cry for mercy.

To the reader, be advised that you can fully repent of any sin; be it ingratitude, greed, covetousness or something else. Whosoever cries out in genuine repentance attracts God's mercy. We see this all over scriptures, a few among these scriptures are; John 6:37, Ezekiel 33:11, and Isaiah 55:7. No matter how far or bad or perhaps not too bad your case may be, God calls you to repentance today!

God bless you.

Take your eyes off others and look inward and be thankful, because, the failure to be constantly and eternally thankful is a weapon the enemy can use against a believer in Christ.

TEA RINSESFor this edition, I will be sharing something I discovered recently. I have heard about it in the past but never given it so much thought till now. I have always made it a habit to experiment, as it were, on theories before I talk about them. This is one experiment I enjoy so much that I just want to skip other things to talk about it. One of the reasons I enjoy it is because it is quite inexpensive and available (at least most of them). Don't blame a gal for wanting to cut down on cost while still looking chic.

So this is my tea rinse talk. I have heard various opinions about it and I will also let you decide which suits you most. Let's list some common and maybe some not so common teas and their benets.

Black tea: Reduces excessive shedding of hair because the caffeine blocks DHT (dihydrotestosterone), a hormone responsible for hair loss. It darkens the hair; it also gives strength and shine. But you need to be careful not to overdo it as too much caffeine can do more harm than good to the hair.

Chamomile: Softens the hair, soothes the scalp, lightens and conditions. It also stimulates growth. You can also mix it with honey to bring out highlights in your hair.

Green tea: Stimulates hair growth, helps with dandruff and psoriasis, and reduces shedding of hair.

Sage: Very effective in restoring color to graying hair, excellent for weak brittle hair.Rosemary: Acts as tonic and conditioner, gives luster and body, stimulates growth, helps to ght against dandruff and brings out dark highlights in the hair.

Nettle: Conditions, improves texture, and helps to ght against dandruff, irritated and dry scalp.

Peppermint and lavender: Stimulates the

scalp and hair growth.

Horsetail: Helps brittle hair due to its high silica content.

Catnip: Promotes healthy hair growth. It is also said to reduce the occurrence of split ends and breakage.

Thyme: Good for oily hair and dandruff.

Many of these teas increase blood ow, have antioxidants, cleansing properties, antibacterial properties and amino acids.

Steps· Place herb(s) in a pitcher· Pour boiling water over the herb(s),

cover and steep for 10-20 minutes· Strain the mixture and allow the liquid

to cool.· Pour over your head after your regular

shampoo condition and detangling session. Massage into scalp. Do not rinse out.

ORAfter following steps 1-3:· Leave in for 5-30 minutes, massage

into scalp and rinse off.· You can also continue with a deep

conditioner afterwards.· You can also do a weak steep and use

in a spray bottle. But you might need to be careful because most of these rinses stain, so you might want to use things you won't mind staining.

· Also if you feel you cannot do the tea rinse or don't have the time, you might as well drink your tea. After all tea is good for the entire body system. So enjoy your daily cup of any tea of your choice.

GOD bless you.

I hope this has been helpful as always. Please share your thoughts or questions via email.

33YearsVirgin

his is the true story of a young man who chose to be a slave. You see, he has been a slave since he was born and he comes from a family of slaves. In this world, everyone is a slave to something.

Some are slaves to other people, power, money and of course sex. Yes SEX…that simple word which seems to scare so many church folks but holds many captive. So many stories could be told about it but this is MY story. I started writing my story exactly a day to my 33rd birthday and I am not ashamed to say I am a VIRGIN!

When I was asked to write this piece, I considered the different things I could say but let me simply share my experience. I am a normal guy, my blood is red and yes I am attracted to the opposite sex. Like 99% of the people reading these words, I have desires and thoughts about sex. However, because of my faith, I've simply chosen to hold on to my V-plates till marriage. I share my story because in the world we live in today, there's a false “truth” that is increasingly being accepted even in the church, that it is not possible to stay a virgin.

Although some might choose not to believe, I am a living proof that it is possible to wait and keep your virginity. My goal is not to preach or condemn anyone, especially those who might have fallen short in this area. I'm not perfect and I have aws I need to work on, but I can condently say from past, present & continuous experience, this is one area no one should lose hope. More than anything, my faith & relationship with God are the reasons why I have hope and daily choose to be His slave with my heart, mind & body.

Practically speaking, staying a virgin is one of the hardest things to do, but it's a sign of how much you value your future spouse, yourself and God. For me, God's Grace has been the rst & most important element in keeping my virginity. That Grace remains available to all, including those who are struggling or need a fresh start in this area. That being said, after 33 years of dealing with temptations, I've learnt that I need good friends, wisdom, intelligence, common sense or simply a fast car going in the opposite direction. That's why I say to friends “this body is no rewood, but it is still combustible.” If you know you are at risk of burning up, it's best you stay away from re or stay close to water. I've also learnt to be careful of what I watch & listen to, to be careful of relationships and what I let inuence me. There is a reason the book of Proverbs says to guard your heart.Summarising all I've learnt, struggled with and overcome in all my years, it is almost

impossible; but I can say it is a continuous process with good days and hard days. Some days were very hard but I don't regret any of them and I don't regret the choices I have made. There's a saying that “there are no traffic jams along the extra mile”! When it comes to your virginity, what roads are your choices taking you? Are you following the crowd on the path of least resistance that is wide and easy but will ultimately lead to destruction? Or are you following the less common path that is harder but eternally worth more than passing pleasure? We each have to decide, but the choice is yours what you are a slave to? 33 years and counting, and I make mine every day. I choose to wait & be a slave to more than pleasure… Have you?

a

In this world, everyone is a slave to something. Some are slaves to other people, power, money and of course sex. that simple Yes SEX…word which seems to scare so many church folks but holds many captive.

cast your votes...And Wisely too

he mind of man is a battleeld; the constant war between Light and Darkness. Joyce Meyer explains

in the book "Battleeld of The Mind".

The twist about this war is that unlike all regular and

human wars, this is not a show of power, for if it were, God is all powerful and the devil stands no chance.

This war is such that we have a part to play and in fact the eventual winner of the prize (our soul) is dependent on us and on what we choose to do with our freewill; the great power given to us by God to make choices.Whenever we are faced with a temptation or a course of action, it's a call to vote between two entities; Righteousness or evil; God or the devil—where you and I are the electorate for the seat of our individual souls. Who would you vote for? Who would you make a

choice for? Who would you make a choice against?

The campaign has been made by God and the devil, with both campaigns comprehensively documented in the Holy Bible (with Jesus Christ as the Mascot for God's righteousness) and even in history—with continuous evidences in present times.

Who would you vote for? Make a choice today but remember it is not a one-off choice; it's a daily choice requiring a steadfast renewal because choices that have been made can be reversed and votes that have been cast can be rescinded.I choose to vote for God! I vote for Jesus Christ and I choose to campaign His cause. I rescind every vote I have cast for the devil even as God brings me to remember them. No matter the temptation; to lie, to bear false witness, to steal, to abuse our bodies, to fornicate, to please our esh and exalt ourselves —it is ALWAYS a call to vote.

So the phrase "I didn't have a choice but to..." doesn't hold water really. Truth is, we always have a choice—always! There is always an alternative to our actions which we did not make a choice for.

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live": - Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)You know the truth; vote wisely!I vote Righteousness; I vote Jesus Christ; I vote God; I vote Heaven! Who would you vote today?

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans 12:2 (KJV)

I choose to vote for God! I vote for Jesus Christ and I choose to campaign His cause. I rescind every vote I have cast for the devil even as God brings me to remember them. No matter the temptation; to lie, to bear false witness, to steal, to abuse our bodies, to fornicate, to please our flesh and exalt ourselves —it is ALWAYS a call to vote.

Cheap PerfumeAfter being away on business, Tim thought it would be nice to bring his wife a little gift. "How about some perfume?" he asked the cosmetics clerk. She showed him a bottle costing $50.00. "That's a bit much," said Tim, so she returned with a smaller bottle for $30.00. "That's still quite a bit," Tim complained. Growing annoyed, the clerk brought out a tiny $15.00 bottle. "What I mean," said Tim, "is I'd like to see something really cheap." The clerk handed him a mirror.

The Oldest ProfessionA doctor, a civil engineer, and a

computer scientist were arguing about what was the oldest profession in the world. The doctor remarked, 'Well, in the Bible it says that God created Eve from a rib taken from Adam. This clearly required surgery, so I can rightly claim that mine is the oldest profession in the world.'

The civil engineer interrupted and said, 'But even earlier in the book of Genesis, it states that God created the order of the heavens and the earth from out of the chaos. This was the rst and certainly the most spectacular application of civil engineering. Therefore, fair doctor, you are wrong; mine is the oldest profession in the world.'

The computer scientist leaned back in his chair, smiled and said condently, 'Ah, but who do you think created the chaos?'

Hen Thief A minister in a little church had been having trouble with the collections. The Lord doesn't want money from a thief!" The collection plate was passed around, and for the rst time in months everybody gave.

Synopsis: The Movie “God’s not dead” was released on the 21st March 2014 and is based on the book “God’s not dead: Evidence for God in an age of uncertainties” by Rice Broocks. The movie was produced with a production budget of $2 million and has raked in a box office total of $62,630,732 as at August 14 2014.

Review: The movie reminds me of a Philosophy class I attended in my rst year in the University. My Philosophy lecturer came forward and asked anyone who could prove that God exists to come forward. Sadly no one came forward because he asked us to defend our views without the use of Faith. The movie tells the story of a philosophy student (Josh Weaton) who was asked along with his classmates by his atheist professor to sign a declaration that God is dead in order to get a passing grade. On his refusal, he was asked to defend his stance before the entire class. In the course of the defence and refusal to disown his belief in God, Josh’s girlfriend (kara) breaks up with him fearing that his stance jeopardises their academic future. As the debates goes on, other smaller stories comes up. Josh’s professor (Jeffrey Radisson) dates Mina who is a Christian but suffers belittling from Professor Jeffrey before his fellow atheist colleagues. To nd happiness in her belief, she had to let go of the relationship. Along the line, Mina’s brother (also an atheist but successful businessman) dumps his blogger girlfriend (Amy) when she was diagnosed of cancer. Also a muslim student also gets disowned by her father for getting converted to Christianity. At the end of the debate, Josh was able to defend his faith by questioning Professor Jeffery’s personal grudge against God and his classmates got on his side. Let’s quickly highlight some of the messages the movie passes:

• There may be no logical explanation for the existence of God• There are many theories that preach the non-existence of God by very many brilliant scientists.• Many people deny God because they believe he has been unfair to them.• God only needs us to make our minds to follow him and he will take care of our doubts.• Sometimes, the best proof of the existence of God is our relationships with him which cannot be bought with money.• Even the most brilliant Scientists can be foolish in their denial of the existence of God• GOD IS NOT DEAD

LivinglivingHealthy

Have you ever heard the statement “HEALTH IS WEALTH”? IF YES, great! And if not you just did. At creation, God's original

plan was for man to live a healthy life. This is why man was created in the image and likeness of God as a perfect being, and to live a perfect life. But we all know that the enemy later came to destroy that plan; as the Word of God in John10:10 states “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy.” Nevertheless, the Son of God came to give us life and he has given it to us more abundantly. Furthermore, to ascertain this truth, 3John2 tells us the wish of the Almighty God concerning us his children, “that we may prosper and be in health even as our soul prospereth.”

However, in order to t into God's initial plan pertaining our physical body and tness, and also to protect ourselves from the thief, the destroyer and the enemy of our body and soul, there are certain pre-cautions we need to take, and factors we need to consider. This is however not farfetched as it involves what our tripartite being consumes. It is often said that you are what you eat.

Your input determines your output. If you stuff your system with junks, you will simply become a junkyard. Talking about healthy living, there are many factors to be considered but I would highlight 4 major ones.· Firstly, the Word of God. Daily Eating of the Word of God gives Life because the Word of God is Life. (John6:63)· Secondly, regular participation in the Holy Communion. This implies dining and wining with the lord. Anyone who dines on the same table with the Lord can never remain the same· Thirdly, Our confession. The words that come out of our mouth should be positive. (Proverb18:20-21)· Fourthly, Forgiveness. If you are holding grudges with people, you will denitely be full of burdens and it would affect you physically, while the other person goes about his/her business. However, aside the factors highlighted in the above paragraphs, there are other factors we also need to incorporate in our eating lives which would serve as tips to a healthy life.1. Although, our food has a lot to do with our living healthy, it does not imply that you have to eat a large amount of food. It is important you eat based on energy needed. This would create a balance between the energy consumed and energy used.

2. Eat a wide variety of food from fruits and vegetables to grains and cereals, legumes and pulses, roots and tubers, diary and esh food, so that your body will be receiving all the nutrients needed. 3. Cut down on sugary zzy drinks, cakes, biscuits and pastries. These foods contain added sugar. No alcoholic drinks – because it is not meant for Kings. (Pro 31:4)

4. Exercise regularly. This keeps the body t, helps circulation of the blood and burns off excess calories.

5. We need to drink a lot of water, an average of 1.2 litres of uid daily to stop dehydration and more litres of uid to help ush out toxic materials from our body

6. Nuts such as peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts and cashew nuts contain Omega 3 fat, which is a good and a healthy fat for human consumption.Never forget that health is wealth. Always learn to live healthy.

GOD'S TECHNOLOGY

echnology as dened by the 7th edition of the Oxford English Dictionary is the “scientic knowledge used in practical ways in industry.”

It is not common knowledge that science was invented by God and in the time of creation (Gen 1). God made the heavens and the earth including the cattle of the land and even man; His special creation.

Having this in mind, I am inspired to say that God's technology has to do with the creation of things by man which is useful and invaluable for the betterment of the heavenly industry by virtue of the Word and the Spirit to the glory of God. Certain truths cannot be ignored about this HD tech (Man) that the Almighty created. With the computer as our point of reference, I would highlight some of its components in the light of God's technology.

DATA BASEEvery successful scientist in the world never jumped into the making of anything without rst making proper ndings and a collection of data on anything they were about to do. Renowned scientists like Albert Einstein and Michael Faraday, did all that was necessary to collect all the information needed, keeping proper documentation of all their activities, including failures, mistakes and successes. This ensured they learn from them and improve on them. MAN is to be accountable for HIS creations.

SOFTWARE Computer systems cannot operate without softwares. Softwares aid the workings of the internal part of the system by the virtue of information being ingested by the computer to make it receive, possess, process, store and return information to the operator. You must know that the WORD + SPIRIT make up the software package of GOD. The impossibility of creation in the beginning was annulled by the virtue of the Spirit of GOD rst brooding over the face of the deep before GOD spoke the WORD to it and the result was GOODNESS. Without the software programme of GOD working in a man, he would just be EXISTING and not LIVING.

HARDWARESMost computers use keyboards to give instructions and stand as precursors for what is to enter into the computer. A computer's keyboard has every key it needs to send valuable information. However, it becomes weak, spoils and seek replacement, after a period of use. The hardware of GOD's tech are WORSHIP, PRAISE, THANKSGIVING and PRAYER. Nothing else can replace it.

THE CONVERTIBLESIt's interesting to know that the components of a computer system can work so many things at the same time by proffering solutions to problems and still retaining its value, thereby enhancing its use. I discovered from the Good Book that JESUS was caring as a pastor, at times harsh as an evangelist, knowledgeable as a teacher with authority and telling of things to come as a prophet.

THE ATTACHMENTSAttachments actually seem important in technology as I would want to see them as support systems that help in holding the line. Like Simon from Cyrene, who was pressed to carry the cross with JESUS—a privilege none of HIS disciples at that time was ready to embrace. I wonder what he saw in the eyes of JESUS during the experience of lifting the cross that

saved the entire world.

Finally, GOD's technology has everything to do with all the necessary equipping of mankind to run his race here on earth, with the perfect provision that he needs to bring GOD glory. The prophet Moses was shown the WAYS (the technology) of God, but the children of Israel His acts. Brethren, it is paramount that we uphold what fullness (John 1:16) we have received in the birth, death and resurrection of Christ by working earnestly to see that we fulll God's technological purposes here on earth.

It is not common knowledge that science was invented by God and in the time of creation (Gen 1). God made the heavens and the earth including the cattle of the land and even man; His special creation. Having this in mind,

I arrived in Lusaka on the 19th November 2014, at about 02:00pm local time as advance, to ensure arrangements are perfected towards the Pastors' Seeds Family Meeting scheduled to hold on the 20th November 2014.

On arrival at the airport, the protocol department of RCCG Southern Africa Region 2 received me. From there, we proceeded to the Regional Office to meet with the Regional Administrator who has been our PSF contact person prior to that time. After a brief chat, I was taken to the lodge to settle down and later came back to have a meeting with Pastor Patrick

Osagie and his team; the Pastor in Charge of the Youths in the Region who was able to give a detailed feedback about the preparations for the PSF meeting.

Amongst other things discussed at the meeting, he stated that they had informed 11 other churches outside RCCG about the meeting and had also gone on Radio to speak about the programme.

The ProgrammeWe held the meeting on the 20th of November as scheduled at the RCCG HQ PARISH, Light House Arena Lusaka.

The meeting commenced at 17:30 hrs and lasted for about 03:00hrs.

Pastor Patrick Osagie represented the SATGO in charge of the Region. He spoke on the theme “WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?” His text was taken from John 21:3-4, 6 where he stressed the need and importance for Pastors Seeds to discover Jesus for themselves and establish a personal relationship with Him beyond the relationship of our parents.

He said the time had come to move from mere activities and church going into a genuine relationship with Jesus. The coordinator also addressed the gathering. He admonished Pastors' Seeds by using the example of Jesus and his brother James who couldn't do the miracles Jesus did because he didn't carry the power Jesus carried. There was a presentation by the Administrator on the Vision and Mission of PSF, the roles of the Pastors' Seeds and guidelines as to how to get started in their location.Pastor Belemina Obunge was also around to be a blessing to the gathering. After the presentation, the Vice President came up to take questions and answers, taught them the theme song and led all into a session of corporate prayers. The meeting had about 50 participants in attendance.Copies of PSF's publication were distributed to the participants and refreshment was served at the end of the meeting. OBSERVATION1.) The meeting was attended by both Pastors Seeds within RCCG and other denominations. However RCCG had the larger number of people.2.) The Seeds were excited about the development and received it with a lot of passion and enthusiasm.3.) If the Youth Pastor will work with other Pastors' seeds such as (Daniel Adeloye who already have an idea of how PSF works), he would be capable of following up what was started.

We left Lusaka (Zambia) for Nairobi (Kenya) on Friday the 21st of November to attend the RCCG Eastern Africa convention and to also hold an awareness meeting of the Pastors' Seeds Family. We arrived Nairobi at about 04:00pm local time and had a pre-meeting with some of our members and executives who are in that location.

We held the PSF awareness meeting on Saturday 22nd November at about03:00pm.

The meeting took place at the NHIF BUILDING AUDITORIUM venue for the convention.

The Vice President took the opening prayers and call to worship.Pastor Peter Amenkhienan gave a brief charge stressing the importance of the PSF and the need for seeds present at the meeting to be a part of it.He stated that the Pastors' Seeds Family is loaded and it is a platform for every Pastors' Seed in RCCG.He also mentioned that as Pastors' Seeds, we are in a competitive world, hence, it is important that we have a forum where we can interact, network, encourage, support each other and properly equip ourselves for the future,.Pastor Dare Adeboye was also present at the meeting and he gave a brief exhortation using the story of Prophet Eli, he said because Eli's children failed God, the priesthood was withdrawn from their father and transferred to Samuel. He went further to say that Samuel's children also failed God.He stressed our signicant roles in the ministry of our Parents and the importance of Priests to God, stressing the need for us not fail God so that the priesthood is not withdrawn from our parents. A brief presentation was made by the Administrator on the Vision and Mission and how to start. The theme song was also taught and there was a brief session of question and answers. The delegates also presented a gift of appreciation to the host, Pastor Peter Amenkheinan and wife.Pastor Peter also gave about 5 new suits to Pastors Seeds in attendance.A group photograph was taken at the end and copies of The Mantle was also distributed amongst the attendees. There was free food and drinks for all participants courtesy of the Region. OBSERVATIONS1.) It was a successful meeting, being the rst one based on the level of attendance.2.) PSF has a promising future in the Region judging by the leadership of the Church, people who are staunch supporters of PSF.3.) We have one of the national executives schooling there and two members of the Great Seeds; if this small team can synergize properly, they will achieve so much in realizing our Mission and Vision. We left Nairobi on Sunday the 23rd back to Lusaka and left Lusaka the following morning for Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday the 24th November 2014.We arrived Johannesburg on Monday at about 12:00noon and were lodged close to the Regional Hq.We had a pre-meeting on Wednesday 26th, where Pastors Seeds came around to clean and prepare the venue for the meeting of the day.

The meeting was held on Saturday the 29th of November at The Masters Place parish which is the Regional Hq.

The meeting started with registration of participants at the entrance of the venue. Seeds came for the meeting from Botswana and Lesotho. Seeds from other bible believing churches in Johannesburg where also present at the meeting. The Gen-Sec Mrs.Titi Adeboye took the Opening prayers. One of the Pastors Seeds Bro. Ifeoluwa Oni led the praise and worship for about 2minutes.The coordinator Pastor Leke Adeboye addressed the congregation on the special covering on pastors' seeds. He said “if we do the right things, we never have to beg as long as we are under the covering of God.” He stressed the need to support the vision and ministry of our parents and not be rebels. It was an interactive session; He asked a few questions and gave monetary incentives and gift packs to those that got the questions correctly.

Daddy Daramola the SATGO S.A REGION 2 took the charge for the day, with his text from 2 Peter2:9. He encouraged all PSF members to know and relate in the true sense of who they are. He gave many other biblical references of God's servant whose Seeds maximized their opportunity as Pastors' Seeds .The team that organized and planned the PSF meeting were also recognized and prayed for by Pastor E.O. Daramola. The Vision, Mission and guidelines of PSF was presented by the Adminastrator.

The Question and Answer session was anchored by Mrs. Titi Adeboye, where questions were read out anonymously and treated. The Vice-President, Pastor Kay Vilakazi was also on ground to assist in taking some questions.

The Climax of the meeting was the teaching of the PSF theme song by the Vice president, Deacon Ayo Bello. Refreshments and Lunch packs were also served at the end to all in attendance and wristbands with #iLovePSF inscribed on it. 'The Mantle Magazine' was also given out.

The Vice-President took the closing prayers at about 03:00pm.The meeting had over 156 people in attendance. OBSERVATION1. South Africa has the potential of becoming the headquarters of PSF in the southern Africa region1.) It was the best meeting so far in the series of our awareness meetings on this trip; it had the largest turn out, best feedback and response from the Seeds.2.) The leadership there should be properly looked into and to avoid losing what has started there.3.) A lot of questions were asked by the seeds, as such, it is imperative that a functional counselling department is considered for immediate action.4. Another meeting needs to be organized and a proper working committee put in place to further the work that the Lord has started in the region. We were given gifts by the leadership and team.As at the time of compiling this, the attendance from various meetings is still being compiled. In a bid not to delay any further this had to be sent for your attention. Regards

he meeting took place on Saturday, 22nd of November, 2014 during the East Africa Region 1 convention. We were given the short break period to do our program. It was a brief on, but very effective.

The meeting was opened by Dr. Ayo Bel lo (Ass istant coordinator) with an Opening prayer and worship. He also gave a brief welcome address on behalf of the Coordinator

(Pastor Leke Adeboye) who was unavoidably absent. Dr. Ayo Bello also introduced our fathers in the house, e.g; Pastor Peter Amenkhienan, Pastor Charles Kpande, Pastor Bisi Akande, Pastor

Dare Adeboye and the PSF Officials both present and absent. He then called on Pastor Dare Adeboye to give us a short exhortation.

Pastor Dare Adeboye spoke briey on why we need to take up our responsibility as pastor's seeds and stop blaming our parents for everything that has happened to us, or we are still going through, he said we have a part to play and it's time for us to move into action. Then he prayed for us also.

Dr. Ayo Bello appreciated Pastor Dare for the short exhortation and briey taught us the PSF Theme Song. And invited the Administrator of PSF in person of Mr. Olaoluwa Oroge to tell us about PSF and how top start one. Mr. Laolu spoke at lent on when PSF started 6years ago and how it has grown from less than 500 members to over 3000 members now. He also said that God and the authority of the church now have an expectation from us and we can't afford to fall below expectation.

There was a platform for question and answer. During this session, the PSF Mantle was distributed.

A gift was presented by Pastor Dare Adeboye to Daddy and Mummy Amenkhienan on behalf of PSF as a seed.Daddy Peter Amenkhienan gave the 'Father's Blessing'.The meeting was brought to a close after daddy's blessing and the benediction. There was a group photograph afterwards.

FASHION IPSO facto

e wish you a

Merry Christmas

and a Happy New

Year!So happy to

be back here. How was your holiday? I mean the months spent after the Convention. Oh yea! Let's do it like we do it. You know the unavoidable culture; did you put all you learnt into practice? I did and noticed my taste changed. My taste in colour, fragrance and style. I noticed I want to do it longer and more divine with styles. Do you want to know why? Sure, I will tell you. It is simply called GROWING UP. In this edition, we will deal with age and how it brings change in fashion. Oh yes! You will understand why you crave for the styles you crave for.

AGE AND TASTEAs we grow older, the colors we love grow with us into brighter or darker shades. Some may not change invariably but most will denitely. Are you this bright and cheerful teenager? Do not fret if others are tuning down to cooler shades of colours. But, you need to understand why you should answer the call of nature as you grow older.

These days you need not walk far before nding older adults going for crying so loud colors. Do you wonder why? Some missed out on style when younger, it is no

harm trying it out but please take caution.

AGES 13-21 WITH COLOURYou can still get away with bright shades like yellow, baby pink, orange, etc. Nevertheless, whoever feels like "I want to feel young" or "I'd stay safe looking just my age" can play with colours. There are no deadly rules to playing with colours in fashion. God made the rainbow in many bright cheerful colours anyway. Just avoid looking like a peacock after all.

AGE 13-21 WITH FRAGRANCESAvoid contents that are too concentrated. You can go with happy scent perfumes as your daily fragrance regime.

AGE 21-31 WITH COLOURSOh yea yea! You can dress ashy and dull. Just do it cool. Do it simple and leave it extremely crisp. You can try colours from brown to sky blue. Go from pink to maroon.

AGE 21-31 WITH FRAGRANCESYou can try out with a mix. Do not overdo it. Perfume oil works better on you during sunny and cold days. Dab a little on and pour a little in your water to have your bath. Vetiver perfumes are great for men. Try out designer fragrances or not so common names. Just make sure what you are going for does not have 90 percent of alcohol in it. Flee from such except you are going for a perfume bath competition. HAHAHAA!!! So sure you're not.Let your hair do go minimal. Do the slim

styles if you are going formal... Your secret is keeping it extremely neat.

You know what? Let's do this again. Join me on Facebook Email your questions to me. Would love to hear from you. Till Bambi comes your way next time. Stay Fashionable. Stay Rapturable.

Growing Up With Fashion

As we grow older, the colors we love grow with us into brighter or darker shades. Some may not change invariably but most will definitely.

GAINING ADVANTAGE

WITH LANGUAGE

The gesticulations we make with our bodies can go a long way to make or mar us

in life. By a person's facial expression you can tell how humble, teachable or proud such a person is when corrected. You can tell if a person is hungry, restless, impatient, incontinent or

livid based on their body language. As a matter of fact, the Bible has a lot to say about body language. For example, the Bible says in Proverbs 6:16, that there are six things the Lord hates and seven are an abomination unto him, and the rst thing the Bible mentions is a proud look. I know a successful pastor in Lagos today who refused to marry a woman he once admired because of the way she lost her temper in public on a particular occasion. Our body language can make or mar our chances in life. A woman once refused to buy a car at a dealership because of the way she was looked at by the receptionist.

Most people don't even know how to offer an appropriate handshake. What they give is a nger shake in place of a handshake. An appropriate handshake must be fresh, full,

rm and a ve second affair. In public, I still see people poke their nose and whistle, scratch their bodies, mime a favorite song in a bus to the infringement of another's privacy, crack their ngers in a formal setting, yawn without covering their mouths, bite their nails, lick their lips irritatingly, bend at their back rather than at their knees. I still see women who apply make up in public, sit with their legs apart, walk dragging their feet and men who walk with their bellies taking the lead.

Other personal habits to avoid are;· Yawning without covering your mouth

(stie a yawn if you can and if not, cover your mouth)

· Sneezing, Coughing or blowing the nose (if you must blow your nose, get out a handkerchief inconspicuously, blow as quietly as possible, not making the act so obvious by apologizing for it except you had to stop in the midst of speaking)

· Loud chewing of chewing gum· Shifting from side to side· All nervous or jerky movements (think

before you move)· Gestures that have nothing to do with

your remarks· Slamming doors· Yanking open desk drawers· Stumbling into a room· Combing of the hair· Make-up contortions· Cleaning out the ears· Clearing of the throat· Running your tongue over your teeth· Spitting · Scratching · Filing of the nails· Picking at your cuticles or biting your

nails· Picking your teeth· Belching · Burping

ave you

ng and after getting it wished you never had it? Have you ever stayed in a position you once adored and later felt caged by it? Have you ever wished you got something done but circumstances delayed or ultimately stopped you?

A lot of people wake up daily, and repeat the same set of activities throughout the day; with most of them not getting any close to being fullled. Some got into the higher institution and studied a course they had no interest in. They managed to pass out with a 2.1, then hunted for jobs in line with what they read in school. They even took a step further by enrolling for professional courses in that line, just to keep themselves relevant in their eld of endeavour. But deep within, they know that they are not nding the fullment needed in their career path because

they have discovered other beautiful things that come naturally to them. Things they are sure to succeed in; but because they are trapped by their career path, they have not been able to explore such areas interest.

Some people go through these circumstances because of either one of two things; both in some cases. It's either due to a pressure to continue a family business or as a result of not knowing the will of God for their lives. Either ways, they are confused, especially when they don't nd fullment in what they do, and eventually feel they have gone too far to turn their backs. What such people need is a 'SWITCH'.

For those who fall into this category, go back to God; nd out exactly what God wants you to do. Be ready to submit all to Him and follow Him without looking back. After you are sure of what His will is, you need to take a step. Frankly, this could be difficult and rough, especially when it's against the opinion of men, but “...faith without works, is dead.” The new path may look bigger than you and could even scare you, but that is a way to conrm that God wants

to take you to a higher ground. When God points you to the right direction, it would feel like a scale fell off your eyes. The switch from your current path to the path God wants you to walk through may not be swift, but slowly and consistently, you would make it. Be focused, be determined and keep pressing on until you have fully made “THE SWITCH”.Cheers!!!

POEM

ON YOUR

LORDWings

or sometime now,I have own on the wings of my parents……….

I enjoyed your favor and grace without merit to my life.

The blessings I experience are not because I exactly deserve them, but because of your servants; My Parents.

I realize that my parents wings are not the way you want me to be.

I realize that there is more to life than remain on their wings .In tears I acknowledge that my life has no credit

to show you for the goodness you show.

I sit and think of where and how I will spend my eternity I further think and my mind begins to ask me questions.

Do I Really know Jesus

Out of esh my mind quickly answers and says ….Yes you do; but your spirit calmly asks me;Does Jesus Know you?

In tears I reect I realize that its beyond my parents title, beyond their anointing and beyond the expectations of the world.

Lord I am here to let you know, my parents wings can't take me to heaven I realize my parents position and title has just been one of the great blessings to my life.

But Lord, I want my life to have credit .I want to be able to walk and talk with you directly I want you to be my all in all.

I want to y not on my parents wing but on yours Lord.

Lord I am here to let you know, my parents wings can't take me to heaven I realize my parents position and title has just been one of the great blessings to my life.

I want to thank God that things has started changing since the Counseling Unit started praying for me. I was able to get a student letter to renew my permit. That's a miracle to me and I can trace it to your prayers. Right now I'm working and I really thank God for the changes. It's through your prayers that I can now stand before the mirror. I now believe that with God nothing shall be impossible. Also, my father had not been calling or talking to me, but a few days ago, he called to check on me and said he still loves me as his daughter and that he has not abandoned me. Thank you PSF Counseling for your prayers. - Anonymous

I lost my job four years back & God provided a new one for me without any stress & beyond my imagination. I got the job this September 2014 after I sent PSF Counselling a mail. I thank God. - Anonymous

I sent in my prayer requests some month ago concerning my O' Levels Examination paper which had been withheld. To my surprise I re-checked my result on the second of October and found out that my result (chemistry) had been released. I thank the Lord for everything. - Godwin Opaluwa

Book Review

y do we get to be

taken on a journey

through the beautiful

mind of a person. When

this happens, we are left feeling

distinctly elevated. It is a rare occurrence and beautiful minds are scarce. Lamide Johnson is truly a beautiful mind. And in this debut, he takes us on a beautiful journey.

With divinely inspired words, he opens the readers' eyes and hearts to deep truths, revealed in soul-moving words; and like the title of the book suggests, he unveils a vast continuum of the human experience as he moves in interaction with the supernatural plane.

The unique styling of each chapter, which is quite different from every book off the shelf,

brings to the fore the inner workings of a world that exists beneath the surface, a world as genuine and as potent in its effect on our lives as the world which we live in and perceive with our senses, perhaps even more so.

It talks of themes like love and hurt, pain and healing, God and life. And readers are drawn in, into a paradoxical stream of knowledge that drowns us yet gives us more life. It is, on every level, a brilliant work.Lamide Johnson's entrance shows his unveiling to the world, and it is denitely a sight for sore eyes. More than that, however, he has guided us into unveiling ourselves and the knowledge of the truth within.
