that is both warm and sophisticated. Andthe last piece put in its place — a heartsculpture by artist Romero Britto on theliving room table — clearly shows that alot of love was put into this project.

Starting in the family room, a stripedarea rug designed by Gene Meyer for NIBAcovers the floor and establishes a warm, brightpalette for the space. A walnut cocktail tablemimics the light hue of the wood found onthe cypress-beamed ceiling, while pears reignin the adjacent breakfast area. In the nearbykitchen, rows of vertically stacked, flat riverstones create a visually and texturallyappealing wall for the island base. Designedfor serious cooks, the kitchen boasts the latestSub-Zero and Wolf appliances, as well as a
