Session 12: Poster production Log

Firstly after choosing the image that I decided to use from our film of the Mysterious girl’s hand using Photoshop.

To get the picture into Photo you have to save the picture as a Jpeg and open it into Photoshop.

When I started editing my picture, the image was very dark and the picture needed to be condensed.

So I firstly cropped the picture using the crop tool and then decided to change the lightning on the picture by going unto the layer and using the brightness and contrast tool.

However after making these changes it was difficult to expand the picture without looking all pixelated. So had to create a new layer on top of the other layer and hold down the shift and ctrl button so it would not come out all stretched.

In our Thriller/ horror film to give the audience hints that it was the mysterious new girl the ring creates great importance; for that reason to highlight the ring:I went to filter and tried many filters to see which one worked well so eventually used
