Lombesun Holding Company Limited is proudly a Zambian owned and managed Company which was registered on 30th December 2011 with a nominal capital of ZMW5,000.00 divided as follows;

This company was created to support the subsidiary companies with the expert technical and administrative knowhow which will be required in the long run for ensuring that only the best practices are adopted in the management on the subsidiary business. However, since the subsidiary companies have been created with fully autonomy, the underlying principal in implementing such operations will not warrant an act of out-right interference in the day to day operations of the subsidiary companies.

The staff and management of Lombesun Holding Company will house the best there is in this industry and these officers will be expected to have vast experience in such similar positions.

The holding company has two vibrant Subsidiary Companies which were registered as independent entities for purposes of enhancing business operations. The subsidiary companies are listed below as follows;

(1) Lombesun Automotive Suppliers Company Limited and;

(2) Lombesun Bus Carriers.

The Lombesun Group of Companies is determined to provide reliable services within the transport sector to its esteemed customers within and beyond the boarders of Zambia in line with its mission.

Lombesun Bus Carriers

Lombesun Bus Carriers is a Zambian owned business. The business was founded by Mr. Sunday Lombe and was registered with the Ministry of Commerce under PACRA in February 2004. The business was the first initiative to be registered under the Lombesun Group of Companies. The operating license number is LSK10820.

This company has been very strategic in shaping the current out-look of the Lombesun Group of Companies as the experiences learned over the years in the implementation of Lombesun Bus Carriers has actually provided critical information in shaping the structural and technical set-up of the other companies under the Lombesun Group of Companies.

In tendon with the corporate mission statement of value for money, the business endeavours to provide the best possible service to its esteemed clientele. The business provides, both public bus services to destinations such as Sesheke, Livingstone, Nakonde and Mpulungu.

We also offer services for private bus and car hire at competitive prices. We also provide services for cargo haulage within and beyond Zambia at prices beyond your expectation.

As part of the reforms, the company has currently put on hold its operations due to active similar operations in the other subsidiary companies. It is expected full operations under this company may commence before the end of the year.

Lombesun Automotive Company Limited

The strategy behind setting this company was initially aimed at providing operational leverage to Lombesun Bus Carriers. This Company is a combination of a vibrant workshop for repair of vehicles and vehicle spares sales section for both new and used vehicles. The company was registered on 13 th January 2012 with a nominal capital of ZMW5,000.00 divided as follows;

As a strategy to reduce operational costs, the aim of this business was to control the heaviest cost in the operations of Lombesun Bus Carriers, being the maintenance costs of the buses and cut down on the outsourcing of the mechanical workforce but rather house such operations under one roof. The strategy behind setting this company was initially aimed at providing operational leverage to Lombesun Bus Carriers.

Under this company, we import and sell hard-to-get auto parts from proprietary sources domestically and abroad, fulfilling critical portions of our customers' supply chain. Our workshop is set to give our customers the confidence of leaving their vehicles in its custody with full assurance of a value for money service.

In November 2015, this company awarded sole dealership rights by SA Coach and Truck (Pty) of South Africa to be the sole distributors of the “New SA Coachliner Luxury Bus”. This service also includes the full maintenance back requirement of the bus which rights are held by Lombesun Automotive Suppliers Limited.

The company is yet to conclude talks with ADD Nissan Dealers of South Africa, Cape Town for dealership rights of the Nissan UD Trucks and spares.

Lombesun Everycar Japan Limited

The company was registered in 2013. This company was registered after the warm relationship that continued to grow between Everycar Japan and ourselves. This company hopes to support the people of Zambia through sales of Japanese second hand vehicles. Our major source of these vehicle is Japan and we are currently the sole representative for Everycar of Japan here in Zambia.

We intend to offer the best economical prices for our vehicles and that is why we have created very strong links with our partners in Dar Es Salaam as a way of chipping off un necessary overheads associated with this business.
