in Lakewood, Colorado.

role in the production of Annie. When she moved to san Diego, continued to pursue theatre at valley central high school. She took part in commercials for Pepsi, Cingular, Comcast, and GE. Now Katie is a actress on the new hit TV show Switched At Birth. Were she plays Daphne Vasquez. A deaf teen who was given to the wrong family. She doesn’t have a deaf accent. She speaks as normal as we do. The show asked if she could. They said it would be a really good choice for the character. Everyone loves her.
