accomplish moral evil Character is the combination of our virtues

We will look at the meaning of good in thefollowing way: It is good for a thing to bewhat it is meant to be.

It is good for a rock to be part of the soil It is good for a tree to put down its roots into

the ground, shoot its branches to the sky,and produce leaves that generate oxygen.

It is good for a mountain lion to roam wildand feed itself on its prey, for a hen toscratch the ground, run around pecking forinsects, and lay eggs, for an eagle to spreadits wings and fly.

Becoming Good

Morally good actions are those that are inharmony with being a fully human person.

In other words, you do good when you actin a way that is truly human- in yourrelationships with yourself, with otherpersons, with the earth, and with God.
