Hey Key clubbers!
So the school year is coming to a close and
you’re all probably looking forward to being
done with school. With just a few more weeks
left in school, most of you probably haven’t
even thought of Key Club.
Here I am, one last time before school ends,
telling you to keep in mind that service is im-
portant! Congratulations on another wonder-
fully successful school year! It’s time to say good-
bye to the seniors, but I look forward to seeing
the rest of you again next year!

Coffeehouse!
Take a look at what Key Club has done in the
past two months!
Past Events!
This past April, your
peers joined together to
raise money for the
Eliminate Project while
drinking coffee and tea!
It’s so easy to help
out that it can even be
fun!
What happened:
Performances by peers
Displaying of artwork
Reading poetry
Serving students coffee, tea, and snacks (people got to try out their skills with waiting!)
Students hung out and re-laxed

K Family Night
A night where all levels of the Kiwanis of Greater Parsippany met at
the Parsippany Library and shared their accomplishments from the
2011-2012 service year. From Kiwanis to Key Club to Builder’s Club
to K Kids, so much had been going for our community this past year!

It was so inspiring to see kids from elementary school and even
middle school kids from K Kids and Builder’s Club share everything
they had done for our community.

Upcoming Events!
RELAY FOR LIFE— JUNE 2nd
This upcoming Saturday from 5pm—11pm, our Key Club will
be helping create luminaries to honor those who have died
from, survived, or are still struggling with cancer. Try your best
to be there and help out!
RITA’S RUNDRAISER— JUNE 15th
What better way to end the school year than with Rita’s ice?
Come out after school and help support your Key Club by pur-
chasing some Italian ice. From 1– 5pm, if you stop by and
mention that you are with the Parsippany Key Club, 25% of
your purchase will be donated to the Eliminate Project!
Remember that the school year is coming to a close,
so these will be the last events we hold for Key Club
until September, 2012! Try your best to come out
and support the club!
T-Shirt Contest
Two weeks ago, a contest was held to decide
what our new Key Club t-shirts would look like for
the 2012-2013 service year.
After you all voted, Phyllis Chou’s design won
as the most popular design. Thanks to everyone
who voted and everyone who participated! All the
designs were amazing.
Congratulations to Phyllis for her excellent design!

Member of the
This month’s Member of the Month award goes to
Christina Daly for all her hard work at Coffeehouse.
While we were all relaxing and drinking coffee, Christi-
na was running around making sure all the micro-
phones, videos, and props were working.
Let’s all give big thank you to Christina!
Want to be Member of the Month? Be involved in Key Club and prove
that you are as dedicated as other honored members. This title is an
honor and all of you should aspire to titled Member of the Month.

Kiwanis of Greater Parsippany You are welcome to join the Kiwanis club
every Thursday morning at 7:15 at Empire
Diner, 1315 Rt. 46, Parsippany.
International Key Club ICON— Although registration has passed al-
ready, this years International Convention will
take place from July 4th—8th at the Hilton Or-
lando Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, Florida.
2,000 Key Clubbers will join together from all
around the world to attend workshops, con-
duct the organization’s business, and elect in-
ternational officers for the upcoming year.
