Inverse Functions
• sin-1x (Domain [-π/2, π/2])• cos-1x (Domain [0, π])• tan-1x (Domain [-π/2, π/2])
Meaning:
The sine/cosine/tangent of what angle equals x?
Properties
• sin(sin-1x) = sin-1(sin x) = x• cos(cos-1x) = cos-1(cos x) = x• tan(tan-1x) = tan-1(tan x) = x
