Welcome to the Information AgeReal Simple Syndication (RSS)
technology that allows users to stream headlines from favorite
websites to a blog reader. The RSS icon (pictured below) indicates
a website is RSS accessible.
Using RSS with Outlook
Find and click RSS icon on website of interest
Occasionally, the RSS icon will be replaced with these words,
which will occur near the bottom of a page. Click the link.
Copy the web address for this new page
Go to OutlookToolsAccount Settings
Click on the tab RSS Feeds
Click the New button
Paste in the web address
Click Add, then click OK on the Options screen
A folder for the site should appear in the viewing pane. When
the folder is bold, a new item has been posted.
