What are Child and Parent Centres?To make sure your children get the best possible start in life, the State Government has opened 21 Child and Parent Centres across Western Australia.

These innovative, family-friendly centres are for parents with children up to eight years old in convenient locations at or near local primary schools.

Centre coordinators work with families, local schools and the community to ensure the programs, services and supports needed most in the area are easy to access and use.

The Child and Parent Centres in Collie and Bunbury are operated by Investing In Our Youth.

What is the Incredible Years Parenting Program?The Incredible Years Basic Parent Support Program for families with children aged 3 to 8, is the first of its kind to be delivered in Western Australia. This world renowned evidence based program supports parents to provide a nurturing, playful, loving and affectionate home environment which is vital for healthy child development.

Who can participate in the Incredible Years Programs?Families from all walks of life are welcome and encouraged to participate in the Incredible Years Parenting Program. Parents and carers enroll in the program to make their families stronger and happier.

Why attend?These relaxed and fun sessions are based on an award winning program with proven results across the globe. It is run by certified parent group leaders with benefits for the whole family.

Who’s it for?Parents and carers of children aged 3 to 8.

No money?No worries. It’s all FREE!

Plus, refreshments are provided.

No babysitter? A free crèche is available each week. Your

children will be right in the next room
