Dear Church Family,It’s that time of year when all of us are thinking about New Year’s

resolutions. I always make a few in my mind and some I do really well with, and others…. not so much! So, this year I’d like to challenge you, as well as myself, to consider these things as part of a 2017 resolution.

1. Pray More: Matthew 6:25-34 says, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.”

2. Read the Bible Through: There are so many awesome reading plans easily available to help accomplish this. Including the convenience of an app on your phone.

3. Study the Bible more: If we truly desire to have a deeper relationship with God, then we need to spend time studying His Word.

4. Love my family more: It’s an area we often take for granted. Family time is so valuable and such an incredible investment.

5. Be a Better employee: Let our actions and work ethic reflect and honor God.

6. Take better care of myself physically: This one is always on my list!7. Evangelize more: What an eternal impact we would have on our

community if we made this more of a priority.

Let us walk a Christian walk worthy of our Lord. I hope you will look at these and possibly think about making these “resolutions” in your 2017 and I hope you’ll ask me how I’m doing with each one of these in the coming year!
