So it begins….• WWII started when Hitler sent Nazi troops

over to Poland.• Not a single shot fired.

• Great Britain and France declared war after the invasion of Poland was known.

When did the U.S. get involved?

• The U.S. got involved after the Japanese bombed Peal Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

• 153 boats were sunk, including the USS Arizona, the U.S.’s prized battleship

Conclusion

• What was the inciting event to start WWII?

• Poland was invaded in 1939 by the Nazi Germans.
