BOLU

Bolu is located between the two biggest city.200 km far away from İstanbul and 200 km far away from the capital city ! Located in Black Sea Region.Bolu is one of the popular city in Turkey with its deep green forests,beautiful lakes,hot thermal springs and also it has one of the three best winter sports center in Turkey.

ABANT LAKE is in the 34 km southwest of Bolu.It is famous for winter and summer tourism in Turkey.Picnic,camping,fishing,trekking,horse trips and natural ice skating in winter are activities of this natural park.There are two hotels with 5 stars .

SEVEN LAKES is 42 km away from Bolu.The area has been protected as a ‘’ natural park ‘’ which includes seven lakes which are different size.

GÖLCÜK LAKE is 13 km South of Bolu. This park is a very beautiful camping and picnic area with its rich fauna and flora which a lot of tourists come all of the year.

KARTALKAYA SKI CENTER is 38 km South of Bolu.It is a ski center for people who like wintersports.There are 3 high quality hotels in this centre.

THERMAL SPRINGS

Bolu has many natural hot water sources and thermal springs because of its geographical situation.

There are a Thermal Hotel and a Physical Theraphy Hospital.The water is useful for skin,heart patients.

YILDIRIM BEYAZIT MOSQUE is in the centre of Bolu , was built in 1382.

SEBEN ROCK HOUSES

OLD HOUSES IN MUDURNU AND GÖYNÜK are full of typical Ottoman houses.They are very fine example of the 19 th century of Turkish Architecture.These houses are under protection now.

Bolu is also known with its good chefs around Turkey and the world.Cookery is a traditional occupation and there is a Cookery Vocational High School and College.
