Soccer

I have played soccer since I was four, so I have played for about 13 years. It is my absolute favorite sport to play. I have played on the Tawas Girls Varsity team since my sophomore year, and part of my freshman year.

The Lighthouse

From my window I can see the Tawas Point State Lighthouse. My entire family loves lighthouses, and my grandfather was born in the lighthouse in Superior, Wisconsin. The stories and the history that comes with the lighthouses interest me, not to mention the fact that they are so pretty.

National Parks

My family has traveled to national parks almost every summer since I was nine. It is amazing how beautiful they are, and how peaceful it is there. My favorites are Zion, Banff, Glacier, and Jasper National Parks. Banff, Jasper, and parts of Glacier are in Canada and there are the most spectacular mountains there. I love going to the National Parks.

Books

I love to read. Books are so interesting to me. I will read about anything, except things that are involved with school, willingly. I always have at least one book that I am reading, but I love to buy books so I don’t have much extra money.

Family

I am very close to my family. We travel together in a car for two weeks nonstop nearly every summer so it is probably a good thing that we only get on each others nerves toward the end of the trip. My grandparents all live in town so we get to see them whenever we want. We laugh all the time and always go to each others sporting events. I don’t think I would be the same person today if it wasn’t for them.
