We observe Memorial Day together
with our nation. Mass will be
celebrated at 8:30am at St. Julie’s. We
honor and remember the fallen soldiers
who have fought for our freedoms.
When you see Old Glory, remember
that the red stripes recall the price of
liberty, a price that is not paid in full
after the War of Independence, but
paid in every age. We are blessed to
live in a nation founded upon freedom
of religion, freedom of speech, and
freedom of assembly. May the souls of
those who have died in the line of duty
have their sins forgiven and the grace
to share in eternal life. Watch for
Butler County Right to Life in the
parade (or march with us!).
In some ways, Memorial Day is
considered the beginning of summer
may God keep you safe and good
friends bring you fullness of heart.
In our liturgical year, we mark the
Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Our
God is greater than our minds can
understand. He is one. He is three. He
is holy. He is Love. And to think: He
wants to share that holiness and love
with us. Draw near to the living God
because He has revealed Himself to us.
I will be on vacation June 10-18.
Some parishes’ staff is already
stretched thin. Between medical leaves
and vacations a parish office may need
to close for one week or two.
So much in society and in the Church
depends upon the family. The
Wednesday evenings in July will feature
a speaker series on marriage and
family. Look for more details to come.
What a joy to know, love, and serve
the Triune God!

NEW! Spiritual Motherhood of Priests in our Parish
Our parish is joining all the parishes across the Archdiocese in
launching a new prayer apostolate that encourages
women to consider becoming a spiritual mother to one priest
or seminarian of our Archdiocese. Prayer for priests and
seminarians has been proven to be effective throughout the
history of the Church and we would like all the women of the parish to consider
signing their name to the poster located in the vestibule and taking a packet of
materials to begin praying for your new spiritual son. For more information about
this apostolate please visit: cincinnativocations.org/spiritual-motherhood-of-priests.
Pastoral Region Book Group: Join us! Open to everyone, every faith. Questions? Email Vickie at: [email protected] or phone 513-868-1306.

Message from our Music Director
I’m getting married!
On Friday, June 8th at 5:30pm, Kelly Richter and I will be married at St. Julie’s, and
we would love for there to be a full church. Easter full. Christmas full. Our Lady of
Guadalupe full (which is fuller than you think this church building could possibly be).
While we can’t invite the whole parish to the reception (for obvious reasons), we can
invite the entire parish to come and celebrate the love we share, and to pray for us
and celebrate with us at the altar of our God.
So come and join us, Friday, June 8th at 5:30pm.
We hope to see you there.
Jonathan & Kelly
Parking Lot Reminders
Do not double park in our church lots!
This creates safety issues should there be
an emergency at one of our facilities and
fire and rescue vehicles needs to access
our lots. Cars that are double parked may
be towed away at owner’s expense. Also,
there is a spot reserved in our lot behind
the office building for our pastor, do not
park here.
The parking spaces next to the YWCA
building on Erwin St. (alley) are
reserved for YWCA ONLY. Cars that
are parked in this area will be towed at
owner’s expense.
As Marcum Park and River’s Edge
begin to hosts various venues we will be
chaining our parking lot next to church
when there are events scheduled in these
locations to ensure parking for those
attending Mass at St. Julie. On street
parking around our church will also
become limited during events, so plan
ahead. Remember we do have a parking
lot located behind the Fenmont building
that can be accessed from Buckeye Street
or Erwin Street.
CEMETERY NEWS Planning ahead for our final wishes is a process that we all must face. Preplanning keeps you in control and preplanning removes the burden from your loved ones when a decision has to be made.
Please call St Stephen Cemetery 737-1600 for information regarding St Mary and St Stephen Cemeteries. We have many burial options.
Our final expression of faith as Catholics is the blessed and sacred burial in a Catholic cemetery. This is our opportunity to rest among fellow believers awaiting the resurrection to life everlasting in union with God.
