    Parent & Child Dedication- Coming in the FallParent Class (required) | Sunday, October 2 | 10:45am | Surge RoomDedication | Sunday, October 16 | 9:00 or 10:45am

Dedication shows that parents desire God's wisdom and strength as they

raise their children. Dedication doesn't ensure salvation, but it's a public

declaration of parents' personal commitment to spiritually nurture their

children. Our next opportunity is in the fall so start planning to invite your

    family to attend.

    Contact: Kristy Kratky / [email protected] Workshop | Sunday, July 17 | 10:45am-12:00pm | Room 245

Baptism outwardly declares an inward decision to follow Christ. It shows a

commitment to obedience to Christ by following his example of

showing life and death through immersion in water. Those interested in being

baptized must attend a mandatory baptism workshop offered two times a

year or a one on one meeting with Toni Sather, scheduled upon request.

Details about the baptism will be shared in this class. We have baptism

roughly three to four times a year. More information online at

mgec.org/baptism Contact: Toni Sather / [email protected]

For every worship service or special event at MGEFC, our purpose is to honor

God through the creativity that he instilled within us and to communicate the

    life-changing gospel message.

    OUR WORSHIP SERVICES

Thursday Connection 7:00pmIn the busyness of summer and weekend visits to the cabin it's sometimes

hard to get to the Sunday service. No worries. During the summer we have

Thursday Connection. Enjoy worship where the message will be the same as

Sunday morning but in a more casual, acoustic atmosphere. Join us before

the service for dinner each week from local restaurants in the Maple Grove

area. There will be no Thursday Connection on June 23, July 14, or August 18.

Sundays 9:00am & 10:45amOur Sunday morning 70-minute multigenerational worship services are lively

and casual in nature. We incorporate modern music from today’s top

    worship artists, as well as hymns rearranged in more contemporary formats;

all with the goal of connecting our hearts with God and giving us the

opportunity to consider his truth for our everyday living.

WORSHIP @ TOWN GREENSunday, August 21 | 10:00am | Town Green, Maple Grove

We're taking our worship service out of our building and over to Town Green.

Come for great worship in the great outdoors and stay for lunch!

SUMMER SERMON SERIES SELAH - A SUMMER IN THE PSALMS

Thursdays & Sundays through Labor Day

Selah- is a word used seventy-four times in the Old Testament and

seventy-one times in the Psalms. The meaning of the word is not known.

How ever, it is probably either a musical mark or an instruction on the

reading of the text, something like, "stop and listen". That is what we

desire to do together as a church this summer, stop and listen.

     SUMMER SELAH READING PLAN

Summer Selah Reading Plan | June 1 - August 31

Tim Keller, in the introduction to his Psalms devotional says, “We are notsimply to read Psalms; we are to be immersed in them so that they

profoundly shape how we relate to God. The Psalms are the divinely

ordained way to learn devotion to our God.”

We have created a summer reading guide for our church to read

together. Our prayer is that we would not merely read the Psalms but

that God would profoundly shape how we relate to him. Consider

taking time to Selah “stop and listen” and allow God to shape you

through the Psalms this summer. Reading list available in the lobby or

online. Opt into a daily text by texting mgefc.selah to 292929

ADULT BIBLE FELLOWSHIPS [ABFs]ABFs let you start CONNECTING as family here at MGEFC. In each of our ABFs,

you will have an opportunity to meet and build relationships with other adults

and study God’s Word together. ABFs provide a place to be involved, known

    and loved.

Who can attend an ABF?ABFs are open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older. You will nd a mix

of newer attendees and longtime members in each group.

Why attend an ABF?In a larger church, it can be hard to know where to start CONNECTING withothers. Getting involved in an ABF will help you get to know other people and

let other people get to know you. Followers of Christ and those exploring the

Christian faith may desire to GROW in their faith and CONNECT with other

adults. ABFs facilitate your GROWTH in faith and in friendship with others.

When do ABFs happen?ABFs are offered on Sunday mornings during each worship service. You are

welcome to join a class at any time.
