MONDAY, OCTOBER 11 (In-flight Dinner) Depart on our overnight flight bound for the Eternal City - Rome!
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12 (In-flight Breakfast, Lunch) Arrive in Rome where we’ll be joined by a local guide who will take us on a sightseeing tour to see highlights such as the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Following the tour, relax at La Pace del Palato with a fabulous included lunch. Then check into the Hotel Dei Mellini or Hotel Savoy for two nights. Retire early after your long flight or get out and explore the exciting city of Rome!
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13 (Breakfast, Dinner) This morning we begin our day with a tour of the Vatican Museums. Our visit concludes in the Sistine Chapel to marvel at the work of Michelangelo. We’ll visit St. Peter’s Basilica, the symbolic "Mother church" of the Catholic Church and regarded as one of the world’s holiest Christian sites. Enjoy delicious, traditional, Roman cuisine along with regional wine at dinner tonight. After dinner marvel at the beauty of the fabulous illuminated Trevi Fountain and toss a coin over your shoulder making a wish to return to Rome!
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14 (Breakfast) DEPART 5:00 PM This morning we will see the famous sights of the Eternal City on a panoramic tour of Rome. The highlight of our tour will be an interior visit of the Colosseum, one of the most notable works of Roman architecture and engineering ever created. Following the tour, we’ll depart Rome and make our way to Civitavecchia to board the Norwegian Getaway. (Beginning with lunch today, all meals are included on the ship)
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15 AT SEA Today is a great day to discover all of the ship’s amenities!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16 ARRIVE 9:00 AM DEPART 7:00 PM As you arrive in Kotor, Montenegro, you’ll notice the dramatic 65-foot high protective walls, which date back to the Venetian period during the 9th century. Stroll the labyrinth of cobbled streets with cozy cafes and craft shops as you marvel at the graceful old buildings. Kotor is a UNESCO World Natural and Historical Heritage Site.
Encounter a fascinating world of mythical gods and curiously compelling antiquities.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 ARRIVE 7:00 AM DEPART 5:00 PM Dubbed “the pearl of the Adriatic” by the poet Lord Byron, Dubrovnik, Croatia exudes romantic charm and beautiful scenery with its shimmering marble streets, centuries-old buildings capped by bright orange roofs, and lovely beaches ensconced between striking rocky ledges.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 18 ARRIVE 7:00 AM DEPART 3:00 PM One of the lushest of the Greek Isles, Corfu is rimmed in dramatic blue waters and topped with tranquil hillside villages. A collection of quaint cafes feels very continental, but the island's secluded coves and sandy beaches could only be found in the Greek Isles.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 19 ARRIVE 1:00 PM DEPART 10:00 PM Whitewashed villages clinging to the sides of the sea cliffs have made the volcanic island of Santorini, Greece one of the most widely photographed places in the world. The island's charm and subtle mystery have even made it a target of speculation as the location of the lost city of Atlantis.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 20 ARRIVE 8:00 AM DEPART 6:00 PM Mykonos is a classic Greek Island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and windmills. Its reputation for beautiful beaches makes Mykonos the most popular island in the Cyclades.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21 ARRIVE 7:00 AM DEPART 7:00 PM Piraeus, or Athens is the cradle of civilization, the oldest city in Europe. Not only is this city home to the Acropolis and some of the most important architectural structures and archaeological finds in the Western world, it is also a very modern city, an urban amalgam of extraordinary art, culture, cuisine and shopping.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22 AT SEA Today will be a fun day to join the on board activities. Try your luck in the casino or finish your book while lounging on the deck!
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23 ARRIVE 7:00 AM DEPART 5:00 PM Located on Italy's stunning Amalfi coast, Naples is a city rich in history. A tour around the grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old center will take you back centuries. Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pompeii, the most-visited archaeological site in the world. Explore the ancient ruins, frozen in time by ash from the massive eruption of Mt Vesuvius.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24 ARRIVE 9:00 AM DEPART 8:00 PM It will be exciting to visit the Tuscan region with the famous cities of Florence & Pisa, Italy being resplendent in art and history! See Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo, Michelangelo's David and the famous Leaning Tower.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 25 ARRIVE 6:00 AM This morning we arrive back in Civitavecchia, Italy where we will disembark and transfer to the airport for our return flight.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS: Local airport transfers from Perryville, Jackson and Springfield will be provided at an additional cost based on the number of participants traveling from these cities.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All passengers must carry a passport valid for at least six months (April 25, 2022) beyond the return date of the trip. A passport card is NOT acceptable for this trip. Since this tour includes travel within the EU Schengen Zone, it is also necessary to obtain an ETIAS visa waiver prior to departure. Please speak with your group leader for more details.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All payments are fully refundable for cancellations received by June 2, 2021. Cruises and Tours Worldwide has purchased a Group Protection Plan on behalf of all passengers which is provided by Travel Insured Intl. A Travel Protection claim must be filed with Travel Insured Intl. for cancellations received after June 2, 2021. Passengers must be prepared to submit any supporting documentation if cancelling the trip for a covered reason.
