Doctors tried to protect themselves by wearing special clothes.

Victims were buried outside the city walls: Great Pit at Aldgate in London At Finsbury Fields.

The Lord Mayor of London ordered all the stray dogs and cats to be destroyed.

About 40,000 dogs and200,000 cats were killed

 

Consequences

September 2, 1666On Pudding Lane,

in the bakeshop of Thomas Farynor8 o'clock in the morning,

the fire had spread halfway across London Bridge.

The fire was too out of control to stop.
