•BRAVE PRINCESS OF SULU•

A very beautiful princess from Sulu. She

had a strong heart and a dominant will power with whichshe tried to bewitch the Spanish soldiers, thus leading themto their destruction.

Siri Kala,a Moro chief, already joined hisforces with those of Sigalo, another Moro Chief ,but theystill could not attack the Spaniards who were armedefficaciously and whom they thought they could notconquer.

Therefore, Purmassuri went to the barracksof the Spaniards. Just like other descendants of adam, theSpanish soldiers were bewitch by the beauty of Purmassuri. She took advantage of this opportunity and entertainedvery well the white soldiers.

Siri Kala's and Sigalo's soldiers attacked theSpanish soldiers. They were able to kill all the whitesoldiers except those left in the ship. The remaining soldierswere the opes that revealed all that happened.

This story of Purmassuri showed that ourcountry was never conquered without any defense and thewoman were always ready to make an effort to do their bitfor the sake of their mother country.
