The Good Cont…Identify what you want!

Because of dating websites complex questionnaires, the website actually helps you figure out the kind of man or women you are looking for.

We are still with the good people!

It is a new growing idea!According to this glamour website I stumbled upon, by accident , no affiliation, “59% of people agree that online dating is a good way to meet people.”

One More thing….Ladies, this would work for you only

Ladies why not get a free meal out of this? It is simple, meet up with a guy, who you find interesting, tell him to take you out, choose your favorite restaurant, and listen to his boooring conversation for like an hour, then the date is over…simple free ride, free food, and who knows you might actually like the guy.

A storyAnna & Sam Abma, Wycoff, New Jersey

A divorced mother, Anna, 46, looked into the future and saw a time when her kids wouldn’t need her around quite as much—and she’d end up alone. Joining eHarmony, which matches couples based on a detailed personality questionnaire, says Anna, “was my backup in case I didn’t meet anyone the ‘regular’ way.” It took six months of being matched with other eHarmony members before she met Sam. “His profile struck a chord—he was very spiritual, for one thing, which was important to me.” Those other matches had interested her, but fizzled once they got past initial communication. Not so with Sam—whom she agreed to make a date with after six weeks of emails and hour-long phone calls. The reality rattled her. “I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, this is a real man, not just an email!’” Panicked, she put the brakes on. For all of a week! Six months later, Anna and Sam were engaged; they got married in April 2010.

The bad! There is no real commitment

“You start talking and everything seems cool. You have a genuine connection. Then, life happens and you don’t text them back. Then four months pass and you message them randomly to find out they’re dating a real living person and you had cold pizza last night while cuddling with your cat and watching The Notebook and swearing you wont cry this time (like the other fifty times) and then things get awkward….. Not that I have experience with that.”

-Alex Martinez, Meet Me user

It Gets WorseWorse than cigarettes?

In an effort to keep the newly formed relationship working, you might find yourself spending countless hours in front a computer screen. This can bleed over into your work and social life, as you both cling onto a online love that affects your schedules negatively.

Not so happy Ending

Mama’s Boy“This really hot guy and I had been messaging back and forth for a while before decided to meet up at a coffee place. He was seriously the perfect catch, so I was pretty psyched. I walked in looking for him when an older woman approached me. Long story short, she had set the profile up for her son without his knowledge and was pre-screening potential girlfriends for him! I was out of there in seconds.” –Dana, 23

Page 12: The Good, T he bad, and The Catfish

Catfishing…fear of the unknown

Catfishing, what is it?Catfishing is basically the act of using a fake picture in order to “bait” someone to talk to you. This can be done by females posting pics that are not really them, males posting pics that are not really them, or using a pic to change your gender online.
