TheAscendedMasterAfraistheancientpatronofthecontinentofAfricaandsponsoroftheblackrace.Hecomesagainwithamessageofunityandbrotherhoodforhisbrethreneverywhere.Afraispledgedtosolvetheproblemsofdivergentpeoples—localwars,discordinreligion,strifebetweenArabandJew,betweenblackandwhite,betweenChristianandMoslem.

TheTrueMeaningofRace

Fromaspiritualperspective,thereisnosuchthingasablackraceorawhiterace.Inheaven,themastersarenotnotedbytheirraceorpreviousreligion.Allareknownbythequalityoftheheartandbytheflametheykeep.

AlloftheracesonearthhavecomeforthfromtheheartofGodunderthesevenrays,orsevenpathsofinitiation.Thosewhoaretodayknownasthewhiteracecameforthforthemasteryoftheyellow(wisdom),pink(love)andwhite(purity)flames—hence,thevariousmixturesandtonequalitiesoftheirskin.TheseevolutionswereintendedtoplaceuponthealtarofGodthegiftoftheirself-masteryinthewayofwisdom,loveandpurity.

Thoseoftheyellowrace,thepeopleofChina,serveontherayofwisdom,whilethosewhohavered-coloredskinareintendedtoamplifythepinkflameofdivinelove.

Themembersoftheblackracehavecomeforthonthebluerayandthevioletray.IntheancientcivilizationonthecontinentofAfrica,thepeople’sskinhadablueoraviolethue.ThesecolorscomefromtheFather-MotherGod,AlphaandOmega,thebeginningandtheending,thefirstrayandtheseventhray.

Individualnationshavetheirowncalling,ordharma.EachnationiscalledbyGodtomanifestaspecificvirtueorfulfillacertaindestiny.ThemembersofwhatisnowknownastheblackraceweresenttoearthtomasterthequalitiesofGod’spower,hiswillandhisfaith(ontheblueray)andthequalitiesofGod’sfreedom,justiceandmercy(onthevioletray).Thiscontinuestobetheirmissiontothisday.

Karmaisthereasonitissodifficulttoresolveplanetaryproblems.ThisiswhypeopleneverseemabletostoptheirdisputesintheMiddleEast.Theycannotgetovertheirarguments,becausetheyarebasedonanancientkarma.Theyneedtogiveupthedesiretoconquertheotherone,togetevenforsomethingthatwasdonetotheminthepast.

Wefindthroughouthistorythatracialstrifehasitsorigininthedivide-and-conquertacticsofthesewhoarecalledthefallenones.Thesearetheywho,bychoice,byfreewill,havetakenwhatisknownastheleft-handedpath.Theyappearineveryraceandineverynation.Theascendedmasterscallthem“thespoilers”becausewhereverthereislight,truereligionandjoy,theycometospoilthatpureandholyinnocentvibrationofthegoodseed.ThesefallenoneshaveusedracetodividethechildrenofGodonearth,anditistimethatthisliebeexposed!

HumilityandBrotherhood

Afrateachesthathumilityisakeyingredientofthepathofbrotherhood.Pridetakesmanyformsandtruehumilitybutone.Truehumilitymustbeworneternally.Itisnotagarmentyouplaceuponyourselfforamoment,foradayorayearorwhenpassingatest.ItisanundergarmentwithwhichGodhimselfisclothed,andunlessitsurroundsthedisciple,thehopesofattainmentareslimindeed.

Godisinallmen’shearts,andallmenarebrothers,madeofoneblood.Thetrueunderstandingof“Whoismybrother?”hasbeenexplainedincountlessparablesandinspiredwritings.Jesusexplainedthat“WhosoeverdoeththewillofGod,thesameismybrother,andmysister,andmother”—andinreality,thebrother,thesister,themotherofalllife.Thus,allmenarebrothersundertheFather-MotherGod.

Thetenetsofmostfaithssupportthestatement“IAMmybrother’skeeper”;andthisisasitshouldbe,for,inreality,alllifeisone.ThescientificcorollarytothistruthisfoundinthestatementofJesus“Inasmuchasyehavedoneituntooneoftheleastofthesemybrethren,yehavedoneituntome”—untotheChrist-identityofallmen.

TruebrotherhoodisfoundintheflameoftheMother.Allmenarebrothersbecausetheyarebornofthesamespiritualmother;andallascendedmastersaredevoteesofthatMotherflame.

ThelightoftheMotheristhelightintheauraofallofGod’speople.Itismanifestinthechakras,orspiritualcenters,asthelightoftheKundalini,risingfromthebaseofthespinetothecrown.TheMotherflameistheenergyofallcreation.

Inter-RacialMarriage

Theascendedmastersteachthatthereisoftenkarmabetweenpeopleofdifferentracesandakarmathatdemandsresolutionthroughmarriage.Therefore,whentheunionisright,theyapproveinterracialmarriages,andthereareanynumberofsuchmarriagesinourorganization.Wherethereisnotkarmabetweentwosoulsbutonlyasensualpolarity,however,itmaydelaythekarmicpathand

TheAscendedMastersteachusthatweshouldnothavearaceconsciousnessinthefirstplacebecausebeingraciallyconsciousmeansthatwethinkofourselvesasfleshandbloodratherthanasourbodiesbeingthecoatsthatwewear.Andsowe[all]havebeeninandoutofembodimentinmanyraces.
