The Game ChangerIsa 32:11-18

Ever since man was created, there has always been a constant tussle between his spirit and his soul with regard to the overwhelming circumstances that he is confronted with. Somehow, Life does not seem like a bed of roses. Rather, it seems to be full of thorns and thistles, pains and pleasures. We are continually being confronted with threats and challenges that require us to make very precise decisions. In John 16:33, Jesus Himself affirms that there will always be difficulties in this world. However, there is need to understand that submission to the leading of the Holy Spirit is the major key to triumphing over all of life's challenges. Today's outline seeks to enlighten us on how to allow the Holy Spirit play all His roles and perfect the course of our lives.

1. Why is it that Christians struggle with or find it difficult to submit to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in the affairs of life? Discuss.

2. The following are what we must do as Christians to take advantage of the ministry of the Holy Spirit (Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby)

· Acknowledge the presence of the Holy Spirit in you (Heb 11:6)· Spend sufficient time in fellowship with Him. Do this by communicating with Him all

the time.· Be conscious of His presence all the time· Live in absolute obedience to His leadership, even in the smallest of matters (1Thess

5:19, Eph 4:30)· Strive to know Him personally

God has promised not to leave us comfortless. He has assured us of the Holy Spirit who will guide us through all of life's situations (John 15:26). There is a need to understand that submission to the leading of the Spirit is the major key to triumphing over life's challenges. Otherwise, we just keep on struggling. As you yield to His leadership, the game of life turn around in your favour. You will succeed in Jesus' name.

· Get a CD, tape, or book on the ministry of the Holy Spirit at Daystar Book Stand. · Spend time daily with the Holy Spirit. Start by saying “Good Morning” to Him.

The Holy Spirit Makes The DifferenceJohn 16:13, Isa 32:11-18

As teenagers, we have challenges such as peer pressure, low self-esteem because we keep comparing ourselves to others, rejection, abuse, lack of love, and so on. All these can be traced back to our lack of consciousness of the Holy Spirit. Therefore seeking the help and better relationship of the Holy Spirit is our focus today.

1. Have you been in a situation where you feel alone with no one to help? How did you come out of it? Discuss.

2. The lack of consciousness of the Holy Spirit can make you feel a situation is hopeless. Here are ways we can engage the help of the Holy Spirit;

· The first step is to have a right relationship with God by giving your life to Jesus. (John 3:3)

· Be baptized with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8, 19:1-7)· Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit through prayers and meditation on the word

of God· Be conscious of the leading of the Holy Spirit because He is always there.

Mention others.

We cannot do without the Holy Spirit. Embrace Him and your life will be easy and beautiful.

In everything you do this week, no matter how little or insignificant, ask Him to help you.

The Game Changer in Your Business

Isaiah 32:1-18, 1Samuel 16:1-23

Business is like a football game of two halves. A team losing in the first half can turn around to win the game as the coach (CEO, Manager or Leader) gives fresh instructions at the half-time break. Such new strategies /tactics may be facilitated by introducing a substitute player who becomes instrumental to favourably alter the flow of the game and is usually referred to as ''the Game Changer''. The Holy Spirit (John 14:15-18) is the supernatural game changer of our lives and businesses. He has the capacity to change the direction of things. What was impossible before becomes not only possible but easy to accomplish. He gives fresh ideas, strategies, strength, etc. As a Christian Business practitioner, it is just smart to introduce the Holy Spirit early in your business so He would help you achieve amazing results you never thought you could. We simply short-change ourselves the longer it takes to do so. This is the focus of our discussion today.

1. When the Holy Spirit is at work, it is evident. Can you share experiences in your business where it was obvious the results of your breakthrough could only be attributable to the difference He made?

2. The following are ways we can introduce the Game Changer into our business:· Rely on the Holy Spirit for strategies and direction. If we are conscious of the presence of the Holy Spirit and leverage on His help, resolving these seeming challenges will be simple. Learning to lean on His help EARLY will saves you much efforts and accelerate your pace. You will succeed in Jesus Name.
