We are… The First Tee of Philadelphia is one of over 200 nation-wide scholastic youth

development chapters designed for young people that offer golf and like skills programming.

In 10 years this program has been introduced to over two and one half million kids in 46 states and five foreign countries.

The First Tee Life Skills Experience

™ is a curriculum developed by experts in the field of positive youth development and delivered by trained coaches.

Through this Experience, participants learn to apply life skills and transfer the positive values of golf to everyday life.

Off the streets and out of trouble WE aim to provide the youth of

Philadelphia with a fun and safe alternative to hanging out on the streets after school and during the summer time. Our goal is to offer a secure, fun,

learning environment that is available to our participants to use during organized programs as well as on their individual free time.

Once a child is a member of our program they have access to our facility and equipment at their leisure in order to practice golf skills. We encourage all of our

participants to come to the golf course after school and during the summer.

The Structure Our typical program is 8 weeks

long. The class meets once or twice a

week for 1 ½ hours. 7 to 1→10 to 1 Student to Teacher

Ratio. Kids get access to Driving Range,

Learning Center, and Golf Course. First Tee Philadelphia runs 364

days a year!
