YOUTH EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS - FFA 1
TheNationalFFAOrganizationisdedicatedtomakingapositivedifferenceinthelivesofstudentsbydevelopingtheirpotentialforpremierleadership,personalgrowth,andcareersuccessthroughagriculturaleducation.FFAusesagriculturaleducationtocreaterealworldsuccess. FFAisanationalorganizationofstudentsenrolledinagriculturaleducationin50states,PuertoRico,theVirginIslandsandtheDistrictofColumbia.Organized inNovember1928,FFAisan integralpartof thecurriculuminagriculturaleducationdepartmentsinthepublicschools.Allstudentsintheseprogramsaretoreceiveinstructioninpersonalleadership,growthanddevelopmentwhichcanbestbeachievedthroughFFA. Through active participation in FFA,members learn by taking part in and conductingmeetings, speakinginpublic,participating incontestsbasedonoccupationalskills,earningawardsand recognitionandbecominginvolved in cooperative efforts and community improvement. FFAoffers opportunities for becoming productivecitizensinourdemocracy. FFAmembersbelieveinleadership,citizenshipandpatriotism.Theybelieveinfreeenterprise-freedomunderthelaw-inmakingtheirhomes,schoolsandcommunitiesbetterplacesinwhichtoliveandwork. Each state association is charged with the development of the FFA leadership program within the state,operatingcontestsandawardprogramsatthestatelevel,andissuingchaptercharters.

ToeducateandenlightenthepublicastowhatisbeingtaughttostudentsinAgriculturalEducation.2. Theexhibitmustbeanexampleoftheschool’sinstructionalprograminforestryandnaturalresources.Itmustalsotellthestoryofhowtheschoolismeetingtheneedsofthestudentsinforestryeducation.Oneentryallowedperschool.Exhibits from previous years may not be entered again for competition.3.
