Navigation Overview of FCU Website

Homepage: Welcomes visitors and provides highlights about the model. Program Overview: Links to EBP registries and to the model’s books, and is the portal to the following pages – Intervention Process, Implementation Model, People Involved, and the ASU REACH Institute. Intervention Process: Introduces the model of three sessions followed by optional, tailored services. Links to more detailed descriptions of the initial interview, assessment, feedback sessions, and follow-up services. Implementation Model: Describes the four implementation phases – exploration, preparation, implementation, and sustainability. People Involved: Provides brief bios of members of the FCU Implementation Team and lists providers certified in the Family Check-Up. ASU REACH Institute: Describes the work of the institute that houses the FCU and links to its website. Impact: Presents research findings on the effects of participating in the FCU and lists select publications. For Providers: Encourages providers to use the FCU with any family in any service setting. For Schools: Describes the way the FCU and other related services have been implemented in schools. For Parents: Links to information about the FCU process, the list of certified providers, and to video demonstrations of parenting skills. Training: Describes in-person workshops, online training, and the certification process. Resources: Offers access to more detailed descriptions of each session of the FCU and to forms and assessment materials (see next page for more information). *Available after you register for training. 2) Once you have accessed the “RESOURCES” page, you will need to log in to your account using the username and password you created. If you have not done this, then check your email for account setup information. 3) After you log in, you can begin using the resources to help you execute the 4 components of the Family Check-Up model:

Step 1. Initial Interview • Instructional videos Watch an expert FCU provider conduct the initial interview. • Implementation materials Download the forms and materials needed to implement the initial interview, as well as helpful information.

Step 2. Assessment • Instructional videos Watch an expert FCU provider conduct the Family Interaction Task. • Implementation materials Download the questionnaires (paper or electronic formats) and the Family Interaction Task scripts and coding forms.

Step 3. Feedback • Instructional videos Watch an expert FCU provider conduct the feedback session. • Implementation materials Download forms to help guide case conceptualization and present feedback to families.

Step 4. Follow-up • Instructional videos Watch a provider teach parenting skills using Everyday Parenting. • Implementation materials The Everyday Parenting manual is available for purchase.
