On Madison Avenue, Givenchy plans a boutique at 747. Intimacy reopened at 1252 after a major makeover. Look for more vintage apparel at the newest outpost of Roundabout, coming to 1100. Dennis Basso’s lavish three-level space at 825 houses his full line of ready-to-wear, as well as furs, and a seamstress’ studio. The renovation and expansion of Tom Ford at 845 is complete. Home furnishings retailer Natuzzi Americas is moving to 105 Madison.

On Fifth Avenue, Prada renewed its lease at 724 for another 15 years. John Richmond is showcasing its contemporary and denim lines at East 56th Street, just off Fifth Avenue. Nike may take over the H&M space at 640; H&M, of course, recently established a much larger store at 589 Fifth. Coach has unveiled its new luxe prototype at 79 Fifth Avenue. GapFit’s concept store at 680 bowed just before the end of 2013.

On the Upper East Side, Grace’s Marketplace will move from Third Avenue to the northwest corner of Second Avenue and 68th Street in the summer.

In Midtown, Hammacher Schlemmer unveiled its renovated midtown flagship at 147 East 57th Street. Chocolatier Jacques Torres is now at East 57th Street and Park Avenue. Kiehl’s latest branch includes a barbershop at 678 Ninth Avenue. Sarah’s Kitchen will feed area office workers at 270 Madison Avenue. Brazil’s churrascaria Fogo de Chão has finally come to New York at 40 West 53rd Street. On the east side of town, Schnipper’s brings fast casual to 570 Lexington Avenue. The new Hudson Malone (218 East 53rd Street) offers classic cocktails in a saloon-like atmosphere.

In Meatpacking/Chelsea, Reinstein Ross’ custom jewelry will occupy 649 Hudson Street (also known as

30 Gansevoort), formerly home to Charles Nolan. Marni converted its neighborhood store to menswear. Sisters Elizabeth and Irene Pamela Doyle are moving their archive of luxury vintage jewelry Doyle & Doyle to a larger location at 412 West 13th Street. The Soho Fine Art Center will move to 525 West 22nd Street, and change its name to Eli Klein Gallery. Winebar Corkbuzz will have a new outpost at Chelsea Market (75 Ninth Avenue) this spring.

In Murray Hill, Dover Street Market (160 Lexington Avenue) bowed in time for Christmas.

In Union Square, the Red Door Spa has debuted at 200 Park Avenue South. Design company Kikkerland has its first store at 493 Sixth Avenue. All’onda, with Venetian cuisine, opened early in the new year at 22 East 13th Street.

In the Garment District/Herald Square, Trollbeads, a specialist in charm bracelets, necklaces and beads, comes from Denmark to 1016 Sixth Avenue. Canada’s ecologically sensitive bedding brand Essentia makes its New York City bow at 36 West 34th Street. Farther west, Planet Fitness’ next outpost will open at 213 West 34th Street in April.

In Greenwich/West/East Village, Noma Boutique will offer high fashion at 323 Bleecker Street. Macaron maker Maison Adam has signed for 1 West 8th Street. East Villagers once again have their beloved Mee Noodle Shop, which has returned to 223 First Avenue, just a few doors from its original location, which burned down in 2006. North River offers comfort food from Momofuku Ko veteran Adam Starowicz at 166 First Avenue. Look for another eatery this year from Empellon’s Alex Stupak at 132 St. Mark’s Place. Juice bar to the stars Liquiteria has taken the shuttered Gray’s Papaya space at 402 Sixth Avenue.

In Soho, DSquared2 will open its first store in the city at 402 West Broadway. Balenciaga’s stunning marble and limestone flagship, designed by Alexander Wang, debuted at 148 Mercer Street, as did its men’s shop at 149 Mercer. Nars has another store, this time at 124 Prince Street. Australia’s Zimmermann, home to posh apparel, footwear and swimwear, has moved to a much larger space at 55 Mercer, while Sass & Bide launched its first U.S. shop at 480 Broome Street. Brazil’s Yael Sonia has a new

showroom at 270 Lafayette Street. Ultra-luxury Dutch cosmetics firm Rituals will expand to a second store in the city at 231 Lafayette. Stylists Vanessa Traina and Morgan Wendelborn have taken their online apparel, accessories and home goods stop into brick and mortar with The Apartment, 76 Greene Street. Jeweler Aurelie Bidermann is coming to 265 Lafayette Street. Band of Outsiders signed for 70 Wooster Street.

In Nolita/Tribeca/Lower East Side, fashion-forward women’s boutique Ehvonnae has come to 160 Orchard Street. Turkey’s Gurhan Orhan has his own boutique, Gurhan Atelier, for his stunning handcrafted jewelry at 160 Franklin Street. Alexander Olch has taken 14 Orchard Street. ModelFIT will open a fitness center at 212 Bowery. Stillfried Wien features luxury home furnishings and goods, as well as a smattering of fashion accessories, at 40 Walker Street. Figue offers items from around the globe, including beaded jackets from India, ponchos from Bolivia and Italian bags, at 268 Elizabeth Street. Otte’s fifth store in the city, this one devoted to its in-house label, is at 281 Mott Street. Extra Butter, Long Island’s mainstay for urban streetwear, has opened at 125 Orchard Street. Art gallery Klemens Gasser & Tanja Grunert, Inc. has relocated from Chelsea to 33 Orchard Street. Bridal designer Karen Willis Holmes comes to the United States from Australia at 7 Centre Market Place. Casual eatery Telepan Local is serving diners at 329 Greenwich Street. Macaron Café takes its first downtown outpost (and fourth city location overall) at 303 Greenwich Street. Construction has begun on the boutique hotel planned for 263-265 Broome Street.

In FiDi, Eileen Fisher plans a location at Brookfield Place. The fashion company is also renovating its Time Warner Center Store. Look for a luxury entertainment experience when iPic opens at 11 Fulton Street at the South Street Seaport next year. The cinema/restaurant offers in-theater dining service with fine options.
