PASTOR’S CORNER

As we come to the conclusion of the Christmas season, I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt grati-tude to those of you who assisted me during the Christmas and New Year’s celebrations of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass: the altar servers, extraordinary Communion minis-ters, lectors, musicians, ushers, collection counters and the ladies who take care of our sanctuary decorations and sacris-ty throughout the whole year.

I also want to thank you for your cards and gestures of kind-ness and generosity I have received during the Advent Sea-son and Christmastide.

The beginning of the New Year is a good time to thank God for His daily blessings as well as for your commitment and generosity, week in and week out, to our parish. Thanks to God’s supernatural grace and your gift of talent, time and treasure, our parish community can fulfill its pastoral and spiritual mission to proclaim the Good News of Our Lord Je-sus Christ, particularly to those who are in need of our help.

It is my prayer that this New Year will be a special time of grace, joy and peace in your own family and in our one big family of Holy Spirit Parish.
