Caregivers , aware of the situation, however, lack the knowledge to

help these children. The el Project - emotions cards

allows caregivers to discuss emotions with orphansthrough the use of emotion cards. The collectivelearning experience will stimulate interaction firstbetween caregivers and then between orphans as theycontinue the learning process amongst themselves, allowing this vital conversation to begin and grow.

Given theopportunity to build a trustingrelationship with other orphans andcaregivers through the understanding of deeper feelings, these orphans can thenfreely express their emotions andbenefit from the established trust andconfidence for more opportunities inlife.

Orphan lacking a persistantcaregiver often struggles withtrust in expressing inner emotions; resulting in poor social skills andlow expectation in life.

A study by World Vision have shown that orphans reaches 16 aged out of the adoptionprogram and orphanages are then put into use in workforce in the society.
