What is the affective filter hypothesis ?

The hypothesis stated by krashen says that the affective filter It’s an imaginary barrier that prevents the students to learn a second language

Emotional factors can make a big difference in their learning.

Motivation ,self-confidence, stress, hungry, boredom, anxiety,panic, insecurity

How does it work ?When the affective

head.
