Development and Peace's Share Lent Campaign This year, Development and Peace's annual Share Lent campaign is addressing the issue of hunger. There are one billion people in the world who do not have enough to eat. By addressing the root causes of poverty, Development and Peace is working to ensure that all people have access to food. This year, Development and Peace has joined Caritas Internationalis' global campaign One Human Family, Food for All to end hunger. Development and Peace is working with communities in the Global South to ensure that they are able to put food on their families' tables. Help us end global hunger by contributing to this campaign on Solidarity Sunday, the fifth Sunday of Lent. Lenten Food Donations As our parish supports the work of the Fredericton Food Bank (now: Greener Village Community Food Centre) "helping to improve food security for our low-income, vulnerable population", please consider for the Fifth Sunday in Lent a donation of WOWBUTTER (soy-based) or CHEEZ-WHIZ (for individuals with peanut allergies). ‘Hockey Fun-raiser’: St. Dunstan’s Leafs vs The

Nashwaaksis United Church Canadiens at the Willie

O’Ree Place @ 5pm on Sunday, April 6th. Don’t put your

skates, sticks and gloves away yet!! St. Dunstan’s is putting

together our team this week. We need girls and boys (10-13

yrs old), men and women 14 yrs and older, and a goalie 13

yrs or older. If you are interested in mixing faith with some

fun, WE NEED YOU! Players will be invited to make a

donation to play ( a loonie or 2 or 3 or 10…no more than

$15) . Fans are welcome – no charge. This will be a fun,

pond hockey style game and safe for all. We need 2 adults to

volunteer to be the ‘referees’. Good to have some experience

in this but do not need to be official referees. Please contact

Are you an RN, LPN or an EMT? The Kidz Catholic

Camp is urgently in need of an adult volunteer(s) with

certification in first aid, CPR and knowledge of the use of

epi-pens to be on the camp staff during the week of June

23-27, 2014. The camp runs only half-days - from

8:15am to noon. Based on last year’s attendance record,

there were about 75-80 persons on site each day. If

more than one person volunteers, then time could be

scheduled to accommodate the volunteer hours you have

available. In addition to the camp days, you would be

asked to attend at least one planning meeting and to be

responsible for setting up a quiet room/first aid area.

The camp is held at the Monsignor Boyd Family Centre.

If you or someone you know would have time to devote to

this important ministry in our parish, then please contact

either Carole Dilworth (458-5571), Mary McMahon (457-

0093), or speak to Fr. Bill.

The Legion of Mary is hosting a 33 Day retreat in preparation for making or renewing your Consecration to Jesus through Mary. We will be using 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat materials by Father Michael Gaitley {MIC). Introductory meeting and registration in MBFC on March 29th, 2-3:30pm. We will meet each Saturday until May 3. 6:30. We will be watching a movie.

ALSO: Youth (Grades 10-12) are invited to a Think Fast

on Friday, April 11th from 6 pm till midnight at St. Dunstan’s

(Monsignor Boyd Family Center). Think Fast is a fasting

experience’ and an interactive, educational and fun event

for youth to learn about social justice. The materials used

come from the Canadian Catholic Organization for

Development and Peace. The theme is ‘Hunger For Justice’
