The final video of the Father Ron Rolheiser presentations – Part 2 of The Passion of Christ will be shown Tuesday, April 1, at 9:45 a.m. Part 1 of The Passion of Christ may be seen
Thursday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m. - one week behind the Tuesday schedule because of a storm
cancellation. Each video is complete within itself and is approximately 50 minutes in length,
followed by an optional discussion period of about 30 minutes. Complete schedule may be found at

Development and Peace's Share Lent Campaign This year, Development and Peace's annual Share Lent campaign is addressing the issue of hunger. There are one billion people in the world who do not have enough to eat. By addressing the root causes of poverty, Development and Peace is working to ensure that all people have access to food. This year, Development and Peace has joined Caritas Internationalis' global campaign One Human Family, Food for All to end hunger. Development and Peace is working with communities in the Global South to ensure that they are able to put food on their families' tables. Help us end global hunger by contributing to this campaign on Solidarity Sunday, the fifth Sunday of Lent.
The Easter Triduum 2014
Holy Thursday, April 17th - Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:00pm followed by Adoration until Midnight in the MBFC, Room 120.
(In order to ensure that there will be at least two people present at all times during Adoration you are invited
to sign up for a half hour time slot on the sheet at the King Street entrance to the church).
Good Friday, April 18th - Celebration of the Lord’s Passion Services at 12 noon and 3:00pm
Solemn Easter Vigil, Saturday, April 19th - at 9:30pm (Please note that there is no 5:00 pm Mass)
Don’t forget to bring your Bells for ringing at the Vigil (Blessing of the Easter Food at 1:00 pm)

Easter Flowers ~ Parishioners are invited to make a
donation for flowers for the church altar for Easter in
memory of loved ones. Please write “flowers” on the
front of your regular envelope and write the name(s) of
your loved one(s) on the back ... or place a special
envelope in the offering. Easter Flowers will adorn the
church and a special display listing all those being
remembered will be placed at the front of the church
for us all to pray for your loved ones.
Lenten Food Donations As our parish supports the work of the Fredericton Food Bank (now: Greener Village Community Food Centre) "helping to improve food security for our low-income, vulnerable population", please consider for the Fifth Sunday in Lent a donation of WOWBUTTER (soy-based) or CHEEZ-WHIZ (for individuals with peanut allergies). Food donation boxes are located are located at each entrance to the church. Knights of Columbus St. Patrick’s Breakfast: 170 Regent Street, on Sunday, April,13th , from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The meal will include scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, Irish soda bread, Irish toast, pancakes, hash browns, beans in molasses, toast & jam, juice, coffee and tea. Cost: Adults $ 7.00, children $ 3.00, families $ 20.00.
‘Hockey Fun-raiser’: St. Dunstan’s Leafs vs The
Nashwaaksis United Church Canadiens at the Willie
O’Ree Place @ 5pm on Sunday, April 6th. Don’t put your
skates, sticks and gloves away yet!! St. Dunstan’s is putting
together our team this week. We need girls and boys (10-13
yrs old), men and women 14 yrs and older, and a goalie 13
yrs or older. If you are interested in mixing faith with some
fun, WE NEED YOU! Players will be invited to make a
donation to play ( a loonie or 2 or 3 or 10…no more than
$15) . Fans are welcome – no charge. This will be a fun,
pond hockey style game and safe for all. We need 2 adults to
volunteer to be the ‘referees’. Good to have some experience
in this but do not need to be official referees. Please contact

Are you an RN, LPN or an EMT? The Kidz Catholic
Camp is urgently in need of an adult volunteer(s) with
certification in first aid, CPR and knowledge of the use of
epi-pens to be on the camp staff during the week of June
23-27, 2014. The camp runs only half-days - from
8:15am to noon. Based on last year’s attendance record,
there were about 75-80 persons on site each day. If
more than one person volunteers, then time could be
scheduled to accommodate the volunteer hours you have
available. In addition to the camp days, you would be
asked to attend at least one planning meeting and to be
responsible for setting up a quiet room/first aid area.
The camp is held at the Monsignor Boyd Family Centre.
If you or someone you know would have time to devote to
this important ministry in our parish, then please contact
either Carole Dilworth (458-5571), Mary McMahon (457-
0093), or speak to Fr. Bill.
The Legion of Mary is hosting a 33 Day retreat in preparation for making or renewing your Consecration to Jesus through Mary. We will be using 33 Days to Morning Glory retreat materials by Father Michael Gaitley {MIC). Introductory meeting and registration in MBFC on March 29th, 2-3:30pm. We will meet each Saturday until May 3. 6:30. We will be watching a movie.
ALSO: Youth (Grades 10-12) are invited to a Think Fast
on Friday, April 11th from 6 pm till midnight at St. Dunstan’s
(Monsignor Boyd Family Center). Think Fast is a fasting
experience’ and an interactive, educational and fun event
for youth to learn about social justice. The materials used
come from the Canadian Catholic Organization for
Development and Peace. The theme is ‘Hunger For Justice’
