On November 15, 2016, the President and CEO of LifeWay ChrisƟan Resources, Thom Rainer, brought a message to the Tennessee BapƟst ConvenƟon on Church RevitalizaƟon. In his message, Rainer, who is a researcher and church consultant by background, pointed out four of the most important elements common in revitalized churches: A FoundaƟon of Pervasive Prayer Leading with Courage An Outward Focus The Power of Groups At the next two meeƟngs of the DRBA ExecuƟve Board, we will take the bulk of our Ɵme to unpack and interact with these four elements and discuss how to apply them in our individual churches. For our Pastors’ Fellowship in February were taking a “field trip”. Tuesday, February 7th, we will be going to Cookeville to visit two dynamic growing churches, Stevens Street Bap st Church and The River Church, to see what God is doing there. We will meet in front of FBC Tullahoma at 8:30 AM and return about 4 PM.

Townsend, TN: Serve & Share in the Smokies June 10-17, 2017

Minister to people from across the U.S. as they vaca on in Townsend, TN at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains Nat’l Park. You’ll serve at the KOA Campground through a daily children’s program

in the mornings and a family program each evening. You’ll also serve in the community through acts of kindness.

Princeton, IN: The Princeton Church June 24-30, 2017

This is a new church start in a small town just north of Evansville. We will assist them with outreach projects and with renova ons to their facility.

Brooklyn, NYC: Graffi 3 Ministries July 8-15, 2017

We will serve this new ministry in an under-resourced area of NYC through children’s ministry and servant evangelism.

Commitment deadline for all three trips is April 3, 2017.
