Primarygrowthis very rapidgutsnares, especially thecranialnya.Due tothis rapid growthandexpansion of theheartsimultaneously,the abdominal cavityfor awhiletoosmalltoaccommodatethesesnares,gutsnares.As a resultof thismeshesintocelomextraembryonicandumbilical cord(umbilicalherniaphisiologic)that occurredat weeksix.

Togetherwithlongitudinalgrowth,a simplegutsnarewillrevolvearound theaxisformed by thesuperiorA.Mesenterica.
