To recognize individuals, teams and organizations who make a noteworthy contribution tothe preservation, education and celebration of Canada’s Military C&E Heritage. As part ofthe Canadian Military Communications and Electronics Association’s C&E Awards andRecognition Program, the Heritage Awards are proposed to supplement other forms ofrecognition in our community such as Branch commendations and the Foundation’sPhilanthropic Award. In this instance, these awards are intended for presentation topersons and organizations who promote our heritage and honour our legacy through theiractions.”

Reunion 2018The C&E Association, C&E Branch and Signallers Club of Canada, in cooperationwith CFB Kingston and the C&E Home Station Units, are in the planning stage oforganizing a 2018 C&E Reunion.

This event is intended to involve all C&E Branch members, serving and retired withspecial tribute to the C&E Branch veterans of the Afghan Mission; and to celebrate thefounding of the Communications and Electronics Branch ( 50 years) , Royal CanadianCorps of Signals, Royal Canadian Air Force Telecommunications Branch, and RoyalCanadian Navy Communications Research Branch.

Reunion 2018 will be held at the C&E Home Station from 31 August to 2 September 2018.

The outline program is as follows:

Second Annual Cyber Symposium - 31 OctSave the Date - we are planning another Cyber Symposium in conjunction with C&EWeek. The theme for this year is 'Cyber - Delivering Operational Effects'. Our plan isto hold the Symposium on 31 Oct 2018 at the Sheraton Four Points in Kingston. Wehave confirmed that Mr. Jim Balsillie - co-founder of Blackbery, LGen MichaelRouleau - Commander Canadian Joint Operations Command will be keynote speakers. We will also have an international panel with representatives from CA, UK, Estoniaand Israel. There will also be a panel of industry with CEOs from several Canadiancompanies such as Cycura (Offensive) , Plurilock (Attribution), BlueCat Networks(Threat Analytics) participating. Plans are also being developed for a 1/2 day PDsession on 1 Nov with the support of the Gregg Centre at the University of NewBrunswick. Stay tuned.
