II PETER 3 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the

which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the

works that are therein shall be burned up.

•Hiding in the caves and holes;

•shaking of the earth;

•desolation of the land;

•fierce anger;

•darkness (no sun or moon);•earth to move “out of her place”;

•“whole land devoured by fire”;

•like Sodom and Gomorrah;

•no safe place; no security in riches

•Sounding of the trumpet to war;

•judgement;

•walk like blind men;

“Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their

eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume

away in their mouth.”

earth, just a pilgrim and a stranger, a sojourner here, knowing this, that our--

the world that is to come.Knowing this that we're living in what

they call "the day of man." The day of the Lord will come. That will be the day for His church. All these things are earthly

and will perish.

God on my heart to know that I'm branded like He was branded.

110 The Bible, the Revelation was wrote from A.D. 95 to 96, two years. It was the Lord's day. The Lord's day is

exactly what it said, and that's what it was. John was carried in the Spirit over into the Lord's day. This is the

day of man, but the day of the Lord shall come. On down through the Scriptures we'll find that he was in the Lord's day,

caught up in the Spirit, and taken over to the Lord's day.

His Christ, then there'll be the great millennium. The Lord's day, the day of His coming, His judgment, that'll be

the Lord's day.

Now, this is a man's day, man's doings, man's works, man's church, man's

ideas, but the day of the Lord is coming.

What is it? An attorney, a judge. The

judge with his sash over his shoulder,

girded up here, not down as a priest. See, that shows He wasn't in His priesthood now. John went all the way over into the Lord's day and saw Him

coming as the Judge.

66 Where do we find in the Lord's day? At the end of the age. That's

when the world is going to be burned. You remember how we took Him with a white wig on, you know, and--and His breast, and girded about the paps. You remember that? And we proved by

the Bible it wasn't a sabbath day, neither a Sunday; it was the Lord's

day. Is that right? And that's the day that He comes as a Judge, and will smite the

earth with a curse. Is that right?

So his close friends will think he is the

Messiah.

An Exposition Of The Seven Church Ages - Chapter Five - The Pergamean Church Age

The Gentile dispensation will be in its last church age when that messenger of

Malachi comes. He will be right with the Word. He will take the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation. He will start at the serpent's seed and carry on to the messenger in the latter rain. But he will

be rejected by the denominations.

II PETER 3 AMP11 Since all these things are to be

destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be [in the

meantime] in holy behavior [that is, in a pattern of daily life that sets you apart as a believer] and in godliness [displaying

profound reverence toward our awesome God],

12 [while you earnestly] look for and await the coming of the day of God. For

on this day the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the [material] elements

will melt with intense heat!

II PETER 3 AMP13 But in accordance with His promise we

expectantly await new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

14 So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him

[at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly

calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of

obedience to Him].

112  A man's work declares his character. Christ was God's work. And Christ

declared God's character, His feeling for the sick, His longing for saving of souls,

till even He gave His Own Life. God's work… God's character was declared in Christ. And if you can just empty your own intellectual thoughts out and give God the right of way, He can declare His character through the work of

your yielding. Empty out; get the world, get your doubts out of the way.

71  And you here at the church, you Christians, oh, you Abraham's seed, you stars of the morning, you who come from

the dust of the ruts of sin, that God's made you shining stars to shine by the
