OUR FAMILYSince our wedding in 2000 we’ve been striving to follow His lead. He’s led us from accounting, to ministry, and finally to mission work. He’s taken us from Harding University, to Louisiana, Memphis, San Antonio, China, and now to Africa. He’s blessed us with 4 fantastic sons and countless stories of His goodness, power, and care in our lives.
ERIC AND WENDYEric has a Master of Divinity from Harding School of Theology and 13 years of ministry experience. Wendy is a labor and delivery nurse and has a passion for the fatherless.
OUR WORKEric--As the Spiritual Life Coordinator at Kigali International Community
School, I will oversee the spiritual climate and development of all staff and students (K-12), and seek ways for KICS to serve the community. I’m excited to have a voice and influence in the lives of those in our community! Wendy-- I’ll be volunteering alongside a missionary who serves as a midwife in a local village near our new home. There are also numerous paths for me to care for orphans.
THE SCHOOLAlthough KICS serves students from over 30 countries, 40% of the students are Rwandan. The school has a unique role as it reaches out into the community, shares Christ’s love with Muslim, Buddhist, and Hindu students, and provides an American styled school for missionary kids in the surrounding area, allowing missionary families to stay on the field rather than return to their native countries for their children’s educational needs. Many of the students are the children of those working in the numerous embassies and non-profit organizations present in Kigali, the capital city.

SUPPORTAll employees at KICS are missionary-educators and, therefore, raise most of their financial support. In order for our family to serve in Kigali, we will need to raise an initial amount of $20,000 to cover air travel, insurance, and other one-time expenses in addition to a monthly amount of $1,600.
