that the researcher could finish this undergraduate thesis. Shalawat and salam may

advisors Dr. Hartono, M.Pd and Laela Hikmah Nurbatra, M.A, M.EdLead in the

process of completing this thesis. For that, and for their abundant patience in

guiding her, the researcher would like to express her utter gratitude. The

researcher also would like to thank the lecturer who taught Intermediate Reading

Comprehension course and the third semester students from class C and D for

their time and cooperation during the research.
