The construction preliminary works are started with securing

the site with a Fence. While securing the site , We can set up the site and do the

welfare activities parally. So both these tasks can be started in the same day. There is a

start relationship between these two tasks.

We can start the demolition works after securing the siteonly. Other wise it would be harmful foe the people outside and inside the project. So

there is a finish to start relationship between these two tasks.

The demolition works and the site strip works can be

identified as parallel work activities. ecause both activities are done by using heavy

machinery so starting both tasks at a single time will less consume the time for the work

activities. So it is start to start relationship.

The round remediation work can be start after the securing the

site because the round leveling process are long time consuming and they should bemonitored properly. The remediation process can be started from an area of less

demolition work and the remediation work can be monitored afiter finishing the

preliminary work. we can start the substructure work the substructure works can e

started.

The first work in the substructure stage of a project is

marking the pilling positions accurately so after the ground remediation activities

finished. We can start the marking the pilling mat. This is a finish to start process. !fter

finishing the marking of pile position we can start the piling operations. This is also a

finish to start process because all pile positions has to be identified before the pilingoperations.

!fter the piling operations we can start the e"cavation of the

pile caps to settle the ground beams ground beams link all the piles. So the operations

has to be finished before the e"cavation.

!fter the e"cavations we can place the underground utility

ducts and drainage processes. it is also a finish to start process.

!fter finishing the e"cavations and placing of utility and

drainage ducts we can start filling the e"cavations with hard core substances.

#n the finishing date of piling operations S$% pile caps can

be done as a finish to start process. The S$% pile beams can also be finished in the

same date of the S$% pile caps process. So the is a finish to finish process.

This process will finish the substructure work and the

superstore work has to be commenced with the fi"ing of the steel structure. !fter

establishing the steel structure we can fi" the scaffoldings whole superstore works are

helped by these scafolidings. When the steel frame is fi"ed we can start the building the

masonary wall in the lower levels. When the scaffoldings are totally fi"ed we can build

the upper levels of the masonary wall.

The insulation works has to done as a finish to start processalong with the completion of the masonary wall. ecause the insulations has to be done

in each of the masonary wall.

!s the insulation process is over the roofing and claddin

fi"ation can be started and also the window finishing can also be started. #n the

completion of the roofing and cladding the windows must also be finished

Then the mastic pointing has to applied complete the

finishing works. This has to be done after completion of all the finishing works like

insulation.
