NGD have worked hard to build diverse routes with leading global carriers. This gives our partners and customers the confidence that if one leg of their network should ever fail, the strict geo-diversity between routes allows them to continue with no impact on day-to-day operations.

We are more than happy to help our customers achieve the highest levels of diversity using our detailed knowledge of the different routes, down to duct level, radiating from the facility in different directions.

Data Centre and are always looking at new routes and ways we can help improve the connectivity offering to our customers.

We are Europe’s largest Data Centre, with a large number of meet me rooms and breakout areas throughout the facility. There’s always a meet me room close by, so that customers can implement diverse solutions across multiple

carriers with ease.

We understand that some customers require dark fibre and lit wavelength services, which is why we work with a number of best-in-class Global Providers.

NGD understands that some of our customers require dark fibre and lit wavelength services, which are both available at the data centre. NGD works with a number of Global Providers such as Level 3, euNetworks and Zayo who can offer diverse routes into major international hubs around the globe.

Dark FibreNGD’s Data Centre has become a telecoms hub site.

BT selected NGD to be one of the UK’s first 21 CN node locations, and now locate a BT Wholesale Optical Node delivering services up to 100Gbps. Level 3 have also invested heavily in the location

with multiple diverse routes into NGD.

NGD has become a major international point of interconnection in the West of the UK.

A Hub Data Centre

NGD has made connecting even easier with MMRs in London. The NGD Connect service provides pre-installed diverse links

between Newport and London.

Our customers can interconnect at Telehouse North and Telehouse West at speeds ranging from 100Mbps up to 10Gbps. NGD Connect

is also a great way to access the Cloud Gateway from London.

The NGD Cloud Gateway gives access to the leading global cloud providers. NGD can offer a direct Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute connection into Microsoft Azure West region. Access is also available into AWS and Google Cloud.
