Recently, there has been an explosionof Private Automobile CountryClubs across the country. They are

popping up everywhere from The ThermalClub in the Palm Springs area to SpringMountain Motorsports Park near Las Vegas,the Autobahn Country Club close toChicago, and Monticello Motor Club inNew York. The newest addition to theseprivate automobile country clubs is TheConcours Club in Miami. The ConcoursClub is unique from its counterparts in manyways, the first being its location. Whereasmost clubs are all miles from major cities, The Concours Club isonly minutes from Miami Beach and conveniently located on thegrounds of Miami’s Opa Locka Airport. Members can fly in and bedriving soon after. The second thing that is noticeable is the designand functionality of the Alan Wilson designed 2-mile road coursewith seven track configurations. It’s built for a car enthusiast /gentleman racer to take his or her, high performance car to thelimits. It is also the most technological track in the country, builtwith the serious racecar driver in mind; Neil Gehani, a real estatedeveloper and the club’s founder, is himself a serious racecar driver.In 2019, Neil won the Ferrari Challenge North America in his class.In his 19 races he has amassed four wins, eight podiums, one poleand three fastest laps. It is no wonder that the founder of TheConcours Club would want the latest and greatest technology forhis dream track. A few of the technological highlights of his trackinclude: 21 scoring and time loops, 36 high definition cameras,electronic flag stations, and software to track performance data. Adriver can pull into pit lane and be handed an iPad that instantlyanalyzes their track performance. If they want to overlay their lapdata with one of the club’s professional instructors, or fellowmember Helio Castroneves’ lap, they can pick apart their entry andexit speed, apexes, etc. You can also get video / overlays of any ofthe 36 camera angles.

The Concours Club was first opened to 40 founding memberswho each paid $350,000. One of the founding members is Miamiresident, Helio Castroneves – a three time Indy 500 winner. Withcompletion just months away, The Concours Club just released thenext round of limited memberships at $150,000 initiation fee and$35,000 annual dues.
