ProF2 Suite

ProF2 Suite is the solution for all the requirements

of the framing industry.

It includes nine integrated products with which it is

possible to manage design, calculate estimates, as-

sembly processes, production control, CE labeling,

calculate cutting lists and machining.

Framing management, estimates, produc-tion batches, data transfer to machines, production with barcodes, Uw calculation and management of regulations.

Management of curtain walls, estimates and production batches.

A dedicated version for showrooms and agents. It uses the commercial configurator.

Creation of grid price lists and definition of the rules for the commercial configurator.

Available in four versions, ProF2 is the perfect

solution for the management of framing companies.

The fully scalable versions allow easy product up-

grades according to the growth of your business.

ProF2 is able to make any type of framing: rectan-

gular, polygonal or in arch, and made with aluminum,

PVC, steel or aluminum-wood systems.

The CAD design environment allows the operator to

design the framings in internal or external view, create

sections and nodes or images of the frames that can

be exported in DXF or DWG format.

The 3D view shows the operator all the details of the

framing, including the machining.

ProF2 displays directly in the design environment the

Uw value, the list of profiles and glass cutting and the

list of accessories, which can be inserted in parame-

ter or optional mode depending on the size and weight

of the frame.

Order management

An updated industry must also comply with current

regulations, and that’s why ProF2 has an area dedi-

cated to:

• Uw Calculation and verification of the limits accor-

ding to the climatic zone

• Management of Initial Type Tests (ITT) including exten-

sibility verification

• Printing of the EC performance declaration

• Management and printing of the FPC production

control plan

• Printing of the statements of compliance.

ProF2 easily and accurately analyzes the produc-

tion costs of a frame or an order of framing, calculat-

ing the material and the time it takes to be completed.

Based on production costs, ProF2 can also determine

the analytical selling price of each frame.

Multiple options allow the operator to customize the

layout of the technical labels for the production and

the estimates, which can be viewed, printed or export-

ed in Word®, Excel®, and PDF format.

To minimize the waste of the bar, ProF2 considers

multiple factors, such as: different bar lengths, short-

cuts, reversibility, unification in sets, or it searches for

the optimum bar length and it always offers the best

possible cutting sequence.

ProF2 transfers the production information to the

machines in the workshop, such as trimmers, work

centers, welding apparatus, polishing machines or

automatic assembly benches.

The barcode generated by ProF2 identifies the work-

piece during all work phases.

Based in a production batch, with just a click you

will be able to manage the works as well as the un-

loading of the material from your warehouse. ProF2

automatically stores the profile shortcuts generated by

the production and reuses them in new orders.

Warehouse management and orders

An FST archive with more than a thousand different ready-to-use profiles makes ProF2 an easy startup in your com-

pany. The files are open and new systems can easily be added autonomously, and on request FST can develop new ones.

PLM is the FST solution for managing grid price

lists, and it is available in two versions.

The basic version of PLM, including ProF2 from the

LT version, analytically calculates the price grid and

exports it to PDF or EXCEL® format.

In the full version, PLM is a powerful business config-

urator able to analyze the typologies and suggest the

user all the possible technical variants of realization,

such as colors, alternative glasses, optional accesso-

ries, additional bands and sockets and types of feasi-

ble openings.

For every variant identified by the system or entered

by the user, it can be attributed a computational price

variation by different rules. With PLM, it is possible to

make a list of sales for all types of frames produced by

the company (aluminum, PVC, iron, wood-aluminum,

etc.) and also marketed products such as doors, in-

ternal doors, mosquito nets, dumpsters or frames not

manufactured internally.

Internal commercial management External commercial management

Specially designed for the management of exter-

nal business networks, the ProF2 Show-Room version

creates sales estimates using lists generated by the

PLM module.

Orders collected from the sales network are trans-

ferred to the company to be automatically transformed

into production orders.

The FST Cloud service constantly keeps up-to-date

the price lists of all Show-Room programs and auto-

matically transfers orders to the manufacturer.

The price lists made with PLM can be internally

used by the company to make sales estimates using

ProF2. The typologies of the price list are automatical-

ly converted into technical typologies for production

and cost analysis, allowing a comparison between the

list price and the analytical price.

For maximum flexibility, in the same estimate, you

can enter both the typologies for which the prices are

calculated according to the rules of the commercial

list, and the typologies realized through the technical

design environment for which the selling price is cal-

culated in analytical mode.

Available in two versions, ProSky is a ProF2 mo-

dule dedicated to the management of flat curtain walls.

Through the guided interface, the operator can quickly

define the structure of the curtain wall by calculating

the moment of inertia too.

Once the structure is defined, doors, openings and

fixed parts are inserted with just a few clicks.

Design in CAD environment allows real-time visuali-

zation of the curtain wall and export the design to DXF

or DWG format for later use in Autocad™.

The system produces a label in patented plastic

weather-proof, which contains the data required for

identification and CE labeling of the frame. It is also

possible to print a two-dimensional barcode (QR

code) for the fast identification through smartphone

or tablet.

Thanks to the serial number or the QR code on

the label, the site Serramentice.it allows you to check

the CE frame documentation.

The manufacturer can also use the site to access

manufacturing data such as glasses, profiles or

accessories installed on the frame.

The system produces an A6 format label contain-

ing the information required for the delivery and instal-

lation of the frame.

Shipping label

By importing data directly from a ProF2 quote or

by manually entering it, ProGè generates the D.d.T.

and sales invoice.

The special invoice registration form allows you to

keep track of the monthly cash outflows as well.

Pro2D optimizes cutting of panels and glasses and

it can be used individually or integrated with ProF2.

The software calculates cutting execution according

to the size of the sheets available, and any reusable

remainders are automatically placed in the warehouse

for later use. The printed documentation shows the

operator the cutting sequence for each panel.

Specially designed for the framing world, ProF2

Cam manages from the workshop a single machining

archive common to all machines.

Unlike common CAMs, ProF2 Cam allows the user to

link the position or depth of machining at all known

ProF2 points as slots or profile chambers, which

makes it easy to associate the same machining on

multiple profiles even with different shapes.

FSTJob helps the operator when assembling the

frame and replaces the paperwork that is delivered to

workshop technicians.

The software recognizes the assembling framing by

reading the bar code and displays the details of the

sash of the glass and accessories.

Any upgrading or modification to the typology design
